Do you just see words? Do you conjure pictures and 3D models? Do you have difficulty doing so?

Depends what I'm visualizing,
But whatever it is, I have difficulty making it clear/consistent,

Let's say I try to visualize a pencil in my mind right now,
It's vague,
I have an 'idea, of something yellow, with ? many sides,
Not because I don't know how many sides a pencil usually has,
But because I can't keep the picture consistent in my mind,

Not the way I could with some 3d model on a computer,
It's like an image intermitted blipping in and out of my mind,
Out of focus, in this angle, this zoom, a different pencil,
If I 'really focus, I can visualize it better,

But it's not the same as seeing with my eyeballs,
After all, even closing my eyes, and thinking about the pencil,
It's not seen in the darkness of my eyes,
But in my mind.

I'm seeing words now you mentioned "seeing words," but normally I do conjure pictures. It's hard to do it when I try, but when I'm just zoning out the images in my brain appear very lively.

Memory { recall } of sensorial events via brain cells, collectively coalesce enough nerve cells, to stimulate active signal to specific muscles --that only contract inward-- only--, once the signal stops, the muscles relax from their state of action.

recall action of brain > coalescing reaction of nerve cells > resultant contraction action of  nerve signal to the muscles to look, type, speak etc.

It is said, to better remmeber a name number etc, to create an image to go along with it.

.."However, new research thoroughly debunks these notions. As it turns out, you can't smell a liar by where he looks."...

Ya just do.
Buttttt
This mind thing you talk about more then likely resides under ones skin.
You cant see through ya skin.  I higly doubt a mind has a eye.
I mean that just fucking stupid.  Your minds eye ?

God Dam it. NO NO...
I didn't want to have deal with these two idiots,   buf i see no other way of getting a answer
Gut and frigging  Hart
Back soon.

Yep, a waste of time just like i thought...
My gut feels like minds do have eyes
And my hart is saying something but i just can't make it out. I could only imagine it is saying  the opposite of gut   ( " minds do not have eye " )
Pfffffff,  Typical gut and hart answers here.  split straighf down the middle.
I don't  know why i ever bother gathering advice from them two feuding fools.

Back to the drawing board.
How do i visuize things in my mind ?...
Man this is a tough one.

Look im just gonna pass on this one.
WTF.  How do you visuize stuff in ya head he asks .
Total moron.

PASS.

If this visualizing thing in ya mind thing really worked.
One coukd turn Fully cloathed women in totaly naked ones.

Would / could  some people be heaps better then others, would some people be real good at doing that ?

What a  fully clothed female would look like completely naked is ummmmmm impossible isnt it.
Well i wouldn't trust it.

I can't for the life of me.
Visuize what a fully cloathed man would look like totally naked.
That doesn't work for some reason.
Thats strange.   Oh well

I dare someone to arrempt to visualize their mom totaly naked.
I don't reckon that would work.

Ok ill stop now.

Depended heavily on the topic. Math was always a hard one for me. I always found it hard to keep track of numbers.

If I'm trying to understand complex relationships, I have to visualize something like a multi-dimensional model in my mind.

There is a limit to how much working memory I have to go on.  But I can usually mentally conceptualize a 3-dimensional model of whatever I'm reading or listening to, and envision possible iterative forks in competing scenarios about two or three moves ahead.

If I can simplify input variables, I can usually think about four moves ahead.

Unless I'm tired, then I can't think at all and I feel mildly retarded.

That probably wasn't your fault.  I think math is really poorly taught.

And the more abstract it becomes, the harder it becomes to conceptualize.

I also don't see words.  I see chunks of data, with something like a conceptual structure.

If I can imagine the scene in my head and really concentrate on a scene that is playing out, I can usually recall the words to describe something.  But I see images and conceptual representations of data, not words.

I have a really hard time paying attention to words.  I have to force myself to go from word to image or representation, or I am not going to understand something that may be totally obvious to everyone else.

Occasionally I feel stupid because of this, and I'll stare off into space.

I also have a hard time going from image or conceptual representation, back to words.  This results in me speaking slower than most people do, speaking with a "Barack Obama" style cadence.

It’s not my teachers’ fault. Out of every math teacher I’ve ever had, all but one has been willing (not begrudgingly, either) to help me after class if I’m struggling with something. Their explanations have always been good enough for me as well. The problem is that I just can’t keep track of numbers in my head that well. It’s an ADD thing; it caused me to forget some of the numbers mid-equation and get it wrong.

Thankfully, I’m past high school and not doing a whole lot of math-related stuff in college. I did have to take personal finance last inter term and that was obnoxious though.

I’m not terrible at math either (590 on the math portion of the SAT) I’m just below what I consider the standard of excellence. Writing on the other hand, is something I know I do well (750).

Oops it appears coal has blocked me. They must be  MAGA Trumpeteer is my best guess.

There is that English savant who can communitcate what goes on inside his brain. He visualizes numbers as 2D silohettes of a cloud-like shape.

They brought him ot america to see if was just doing memory exercises and not truly savant. He reproduced each number is sees in 3D clay models aligned with his 2D shapes.

They took himm to meet Rain man and videos of them walking and talking as the English dude was the walking aid for rain man. Rain man tells him, some day you will be as great as me.

Then they took him to iceland to learn icelandic language in 3 days, then put him on tv hosted show, to be interview, and the hosts said was amazing how well he had learn the difficult icelanding language in just 3 days.

So he states that he cannot drive because too much info coming into his brain, to integrate, and he has to weigh his bowl of cereal each monring to precisely so many ounces { OCD issues }

It is said that elephants --if not also many animals--- remmember by visualization.  So if we want to remmember someones name etc, it helps to have a image/visual of whatever to attach it too. That appears to be eaclty what this savant does with all of the numbers he sees and he does amazing math processing
