That rule would have required compliance by certain trains by 2021 and others by 2023, but as Fortune reported at the time, Trump’s Department of Transportation decided that “the cost of installing these more sophisticated brakes outweigh[ed] the benefit.” “

Ok, so obviously you have no idea about what is going on in the world.

The Biden administration has not sent any help at all, to our southern border or East Palestine Ohio, but instead Biden sends himself over to ukraine with a 500 million dollar check, to help them with their struggle before the American people.

The Federal Government wouldn't even do anything about Ohio, but Trump knew this so took it upon himself to go to East Palestine Ohio, and when he did that, the Federal Government freaked out because they didn't want him to have all of the glory, and decided to start helping. 

Trump knew that the Federal Government would only help if he made an appearance their. I know he knew this, because from a video inside of McDonalds, he says that exact thing. 

So by Trump simply going over their, Trump has helped the American people more in their time of need, than Biden has.

Trump and Republicans are always ready to put profits ahead of safety as they did with the train braking law. Any train with hazardous material should be required to have the upgraded braking system. This is the opposite of what Trump did. 

As Governor DeWine said - that’s stupid to think a train that only has some hazardous material doesn’t need the upgraded brakes.

The above post is a case study in someone less than 85 IQ who fails to understand that the rule being discussed was the rule that Trump  repealed. The Safety Board's claims are saying how the rule would not have applied anyway whether or not Trump repealed the brake rule. Anyone with a normal functioning IQ would have comprehended this part:

"The type of brakes the train supposedly would have had if the Department of Transportation wouldn't have withdrawn a rule under then-President Donald Trump. Current Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has pointed to that rule, saying it has constrained him and his department.
However, Homendy pointed out that regardless of whether the rule was in effect or not, the train traveling through East Palestine that derailed on Feb. 3 wouldn't have had the brakes."

These are the facts 

Obama tried to make trains safer by requiring advanced braking systems, especially for trains carrying hazardous materials. Law is past in 2015

Trump decides after pressure from rail executives and a faulty study by the DOT that it’s too expensive for Rail companies to put these new brakes on trains, even trains that are primarily carrying hazardous materials and repeals part of the law that requires the upgraded braking systems.

Train in Ohio carrying some hazardous material has its wheel bearings overheat due to antiquated brakes and it derails.


So when a train in the future that is fully loaded with hazardous liquids derails, what will be your excuse then? When you can’t claim a technicality that “oh this train only had a few cars of hazardous material so Trump’s repeal technically had no effect on safety this time”
