A Troll is a mythical beast of Scandinavian folklore.

The use of the term "troll" to oppose satirical rhetoric, is oftentimes a cheap, inadequate, lazy or defeatist argument.

Perhaps it's sometimes better to not say anything at all.

Apparently you missed the modern day definition provided for an “Internet troll” previously given.

Review it and then get back to me about Scandinavian folklore trolls and tell me with a straight face that  they’re one in the same.

For sure.

I'm well aware of the misappropriation of previously defined words.

Or repurposing, depending upon ones point of view.

Though in this case, I'm assuming that the latter, was derived from the former.

Given that we have a alphabet of 26 characters, it's interesting that we rarely come up with wholly new letter sequences.

Preferring to repurpose old stuff.

WRONG!
The brain dead Trumpeteers are no differrent than the child who keeps repeating No!, No! No!

At some point humans become consciously awakened, and we say they were awoke to moral and intellectual integrity.

Then at some points{s} they become the walking brain dead to moral and intellectual integrity.

Scientist have yet to understand the phenomema that leads to this walking brain dead, as so few of them will allow themselves to mental and physiological research.

.......( * v * ) awoke.......( _^_ ) walking brain dead to moral and intellectual integrity aka cultist Trumpeteers.  It is believed that Stormy Daniels, and others in her line of bprofession,  can aid scientists in better understanding of this specifics of this awokeness that becomes a walking brain dead.

How does one who is rational, logical, intelligent and exercises common sense, engage in a legit debate with someone proselytizing wokeness? They do not want to hear truth. They do not want to acknowledge fact-based truths. They do not want to accept evidence that contradicts their wokeness. They're basically stubborn and unmovable in their state of mind.

"Woke is problematic for two primary reasons. First, it’s an offensive cultural appropriation. As is disturbingly often the case, White people (or any racial group outside the term’s origin) will sometimes begin using a term that originated in a community of color often as a term of pride, endearment, or self-empowerment years or decades later while either willfully or inadvertently distorting the original meaning of the term.

Second, the term’s use often prevents the deep, honest, sometimes uncomfortable conversation that arguably is our only pathway to real reconciliation. Let’s face it – engaging in sensitive, nuanced conversations around race is challenging enough without the irresponsible insertion of the term “woke” providing an ideological off ramp that shuts down any real listening, learning or self-reflection on issues that really require all three for authentic progress."

“Wokeness is a problem and everyone knows it. It’s hard to talk to anybody today – and I talk to lots of people in the Democratic Party – who doesn’t say this. But they don’t want to say it out loud,” Carville, who made his name helping to elect Bill Clinton president, said in an interview with Vox this spring. Asked why his party won’t admit the wokeness problem, Carville responded bluntly: “Because they’ll get clobbered or canceled.”

"Wokeness also implies that those not in the club are asleep, deluded or wrong. This instant judgement forms a dividing line, forcing the other side to become defensive and further entrenching the debate. The moral superiority platform is hardly a way to bring sceptics on board, especially when wealthy and privileged campaigners who have co-opted wokeness do not even follow their own standards..."

Wokeness replaces fact with fiction. "My truth" for [the] truth. It's divisive. It's problematic. It's destructive on multiple levels.
I think the links particularly the Al Jazeera one substantiates my point. Initially to be "woke" politically evolved in the Black community and meant someone who is informed, educated and conscious of social injustice and racial inequality The term “woke” has now been appropriated and weaponised, turning it into a “thought terminating cliché,” a rhetorical device intended to suppress dissent without the need for debate.

such as MAGA Republicans trying to overthrow our elected government in the name of the Constitution
Never happened. That was a protest. Helluva lot more peaceful than Burn Loot Murder.

Yes, it was a protest, AND they forced their way into the Capitol building, looted a bit, expressed a desire to kill the Speaker, AOC, VP Pence, and others.
That does not seem peaceful to me.

Capitol police let them in, and one or two knuckle-draggers making empty threats ≠ all of them.

It was a protest. Rioters or insurrectionists don’t casually walk through the capital taking photos of the architecture and decor. That’s tourism.

Breaking and entering is not tourism. Some Capitol police resisted, some did not. Some protestors went looking for Pence, Pelosi & AOC and were led away from them by one Capitol policeman. I think Trump and some protesters were heard calling for Pence to be hung.

Breaking and entering is not tourism.
Non sequitur.

Again, for those let in and casually walked about filming and taking photos of the architecture and decor, that’s more akin/tantamount to tourism.

The few who broke a couple of windows or pushed their way in…sure.

There is video of many protestors overcoming barricades and assaulting officers. Then there were some windows broken and doors forced open. After that there was some looting. I would not characterize the groups of people who did those things as a "few."

“Nearly 1000 have been arrested for breaking the law on 1/6 with another 350 wanted by the FBI”

“More than a quarter, 284, have been charged with assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers, Garland's office said. Of those, 99 were charged with using a deadly or dangerous weapon or causing serious bodily injury to an officer“

You’re an idiot

Out of over 2000 people that chose to enter the Capitol building out of the 80+ thousand there, 192 got jail time, mostly for criminal trespassing, not violence.

That’s a gross Trumpian exaggeration. The crowd was closer to 10,000 that Trump spoke to. He was complaining that the ellipse appeared empty you will  recall.

“More than 284 defendants have been charged with assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers” Your source.

“More than 295 defendants have been charged with corruptly obstructing, influencing, or impeding an official proceeding, or attempting to do so” Your source

Also source for crowd size.

This source corroborates the 80,000 estimate.

extend 192 got jail time claim from the 1000+ people charged on various offenses, no opposing contested number.

source for most sentences under 6 months for trespassing.

Instead of focusing on what unites us as human beings, wokeness encourages us to see each other primarily as members of different identity groups, each longing for power and influence.
Which would be historically accurate.

Woke individuals tend to believe that their views are not only correct, but that they are the only views that are morally acceptable.
There is nothing wrong with this. The "market place of ideas" is a fat cope and has never existed. Either enforce your beliefs or someone else will.
