What do you guys think?
I am probably one of the first to experience this update. I do not know exactly when it started, or when the update was finished. I was on the website around 10:30 am, and there had been no changes yet. I hopped back on around 12:30 am to see some modifications. Update occurred sometime in that 2 hour gap.

There have definitely been tweaks made to the site such as font style and font color. Slight adaptations elsewhere.

The question is: is this innovation or merely adaptation?
Has this update improved the site and how so?

I think its pretty good. We will see where it leads. I like that they fixed the menu so it is easier to find things. This matters to new users a lot.

Already don't like it.
When it comes to your profile, you can now only see forum posts you started and debates you participated in. You used to be able to see forum comments you made and debate votes you casted. This is already a bad thing.

Then the qualification requirements, not a fan. I get that it can help, to a degree, with quality in a sort of "quantity vs quality" perspective, but not being able to create forum topics without first commenting can limit discussion potential when new members join. More importantly for me, however, is that though I rarely am on this site due to time constraints, I do occasionally read through and vote on debates. I no longer can do this because I haven't done any debates on DART, and I don't consistently have the time to do so for the foreseeable future. This makes it so that the rare chance I have to come to this website has become even more meaningless, as it is already rare to find discussions that I wish to contribute to, but now I can't even vote on a debate that I take the time to read through on the off chance I find one, when I have time, to go through.

I made sure that all my debate votes were of substantial quality (with the exception of votes made when winner was decided due to forfeit), but with that no longer being an activity I can participate in, there is now less of a reason for me to come back to this site when I have time.

I don't see my forum posts in my profile,
Though I see my created forum topics.

Qualifications is nice.

My profile picture looks a bit blurry now, I 'think.

I'm not a fan of it so far.

I just noticed that. I hope they fix it, but maybe they had reason for removing that option.

There's good and bad. I'll elaborate later.

It's nice to see an update happen, though.

IDK about the new update. Nice to see some new features and a cleaner interface, but the font feels really jarring.

Don't panic folks, all the old features are going to be back pretty soon, I just deployed the new version a bit ahead so that we can start catching bugs as soon as possible.

It used to warn with 3 hours or 175 hours left. It now warns when 1 hour only is left.

I wouldn't take what anyone states too seriously. This is how westerners are. They bitch about any change you ever make for the better and then when you change it back, they also bitch and moan about that. You are doing fantastic.

Fantastic. Ignores us for over 2 years and updates directly violating MEEPs.

Yes Mike, let me soothe your ego to avoid you doing right by us.

Is there still an option to create debates? It seems to have disappeared.

I am president now and like I said before I am not going to let MEEP's keep me from doing what is right for the site, even if me and Mike have to go over some people's heads

Yeah, we already know you are a gaslighter who pretends to care about what others want. I am not sure why you are inserting yourself into this since you have nothing to do with it.

Wylted, do you have a Presidential Update coming soon? There is no positive benefit to having us in dark. You can say all you want about plans, but give us an update

Of course there are many benefits to keeping us in the dark when you are a clown doing nothing.

I actually changed my mind about them being weekly. I don't want to post them until there is something of value to share otherwise the unimportant updates will distract from the important ones.

@PREZ-HILTON
Well, at least for the sake of letting us feel like we can know what is going on. We need to feel comfortable admitting that our leader knows what he is doing. By keeping us more in the dark, we are much more inclined to accuse you of deception and tomfoolery. By shadowing your intentions, you are more likely to truly be deceptive

I actually changed my mind about them being weekly.
I recommend you finalize your announcements beforehand. Your indecision weakens your credibility
