Do I:
1) Say something stupid enough for people to not respond afterwards?
2) Convince people of my side.
3) Cause you to get tired out, so you don’t feel like responding?

I think it’s one of the 3.

For me it's usually 3, but that's not unique to you. That and a mix of getting a better understanding of the opposing belief, which often makes more sense than I originally gave credit for, or is closer to my own than it first read as.

I dont focus on any of those.

Instead, now I focus on comparing arguments and claims, which can sometimes unintentionally cause one of those 3.

Mostly 1. Well maybe not “stupid”, but it seems that you open anything that come across your mind as a new thread.

1: Rarely. Though people here tend not to ask many questions at all. So I don’t know.

2: I have no idea. People tend to change their minds slowly with strongly held beliefs and it isn’t like they’ll admit anything.

3: This is the most common. I get tired for multiple reasons. Either the posts become too much to respond to so I stop altogether, or my opponent doesn’t respond to everything so I don’t.
