I think the following deal should be made between America and Cuba.

Cuba gives us every single Cuban that wants to flee communism and censorship (probably the majority).

In exchange, America gives Cuba an equal number of pro communist Americans.  Note being part of ANY of the following groups of people:

1) People that don’t like Trump
2) People that like Medicare for all
3) People that like Bernie Sanders

Just being in any group out of what is above doesn’t make you egilable for forced relocation.  It takes a defender of the Cuban regime to warrant forced relocation to Cuba.  And I’ve met people that defend Cuba.  They love Cuba because their infant mortality rate is 4 per 1000 whereas America’s is 8 per 1000 and that Cuba has a higher life expectancy.

If you value QUANTITY of life over all else even if it’s slight, this makes sense.  But most Americans (and most normal people) would rather live 6 months less and have their infant have an extra .4% chance of dying if their income quintuples and their kid is significantly less likely to live in poverty and extreme poverty (Cuba has a lot of poverty).  Quality of life matters just like quantity.

But the hardcore ideologue communists (doesn’t include your typical Bernie Sanders supporter) don’t see it that way even though over 95% of America does.  This is fine for them, they get to go to Cuba and live there.  They would help make Cuba a multicultural paradise, with Anglos and Latinos, and the Cubans that move here would assilimination and learn English.

I think this is a win for everyone involved.

Sometimes I wonder 'is he that clueless or is this trolling?'

This is not one of those times. It is definitely the clueless option.

I would rather live in Cuba than in USA. Why the fuck would I want to live in USA? If they called me to live in USA, I would demand an apology because they obviously insult my intelligence with their offer.

Irony alert.

And are you really for forced relocation of Americans based on what, a committee (comprised of: TBD)'s assessment of your ideology? Can you please illuminate the zeal with which one can 'defend' Cuba without getting forcibly relocated? What's the due process look like? Or are we just scrapping all American ideals and deciding "You liked a pro-Cuba post on facebook you faggity commy lib, hope you enjoy toiling on old cars and rolling cigars" is our overall domestic policy?

Honestly, sometimes I read things and think "How did this person answer "Yes" to the "are you sure" prompt after re-reading what they wrote?" Your post is one of those times. Remember, you don't HAVE to share every quarter baked idea with the universe, it's okay to let them sit for a while.

Edit:  I'm curious what country you think all of the anti-democracy conservatives should be forced to go live in.

They should definitely be exiled to live in a constitutional republic. Especially one that doesn't let everyone vote.

Bonus points for being exiled to a country where all political parties collude as a cartel against the people so that their vote is meaningless anyway.

Just send them to the weakest democratic nation studied.

Let them suffer for their sins.

Just so I'm clear, you are not proposing a solution or making an argument pertinent to the topic at hand, you'd just rather post links and complain either implicitly (as here) or explicitly, that's the aim, right?

I am just poking fun at people who thought there was ever a democracy to save in the first place.

Nobody on this site is old enough to remember a time when politicians were not appointed by the largest lobby group.
Nobody can remember a time when Legislators actually wrote laws instead of signing whatever thousand page tome their wealthiest PAC throws on their desk.

Which has nothing to do with the forced expatriation of Americans who don't toe some line on Cuba. There's nothing about saving democracy in it. Why don't you start the topic you want to talk about? Or, alternatively, if we all collectively admit you're way smarter than everyone here, and only you and your squad of internet avengers can see the REAL problems, while the rest of us sheeple do the bidding of The Man, would you be satisfied enough to disappear? Pretty sure that's all you really want, to be recognized as some sagacious wit whose genius has been largely unrecognized, right? You're not a problem solver, and you're not super good at making an argument, so would that long sought validation be sufficient?

Anyone that prefers Cuba to America, let them go to Cuba.  They prefer it there, so I imagine they would consent.  Any Cuban that prefers economic freedom to the opposite of economic freedom (aka communism) can come here.  We will appreciate them and their red votes.

Countries have forced people to move throughout history; the British forced Acadians to move to Louisiana, the Germans in the  sudetenland were forced to move to Germany after WWII.  There is a historical precedent for this.

I think it can work out wonderfully; Cuba gets woke adults that love communism and helping out the poor and America gets freedom lovers.

Edit:  I'm curious what country you think all of the anti-democracy conservatives should be forced to go live in.
There aren’t too many anti democracy conservatives.  Some don’t think Biden won the election, but this is not the same.  I think Biden won and that Trump is a piece of shit, but the communists that prefer Cuba to America can move to Cuba.  It’s tropical, it has a low infant mortality rate, it has a life expectancy slightly higher than America’s.  It’s a communist’s wet dream.  Once they relieve how terrible communism is, once a majority of the Cuban residents vote for American annexation, America will be happy to annex them, once they learn how evil communism is, we got more freedom lovers in America.

How am I clueless?  You’re probably not one of the people that would get sent to Cuba.  And now you know why I consider myself an independent and not a left winger.  Trump is a horrible sexual assaulter that has no place in the Oval Office, but all Cuba lovers should get sent to Cuba and all Cuba hating Cubans should get sent to America.

And who are these “Cuba lovers”? I am aware of no serious political figure who advocates for a Cuban style society nor have I observed this sentiment within any significant portion of the American electorate. It sounds like an entirely made up phenomenon.

Anyone that wants to turn the US into Cuba.  Basically communists.  Not Bernie Sanders supporters; not AOC supporters.  But instead, the tiny portion of the US that thinks Cuba is a good place to live.

I am aware of no serious political figure who advocates for a Cuban style society nor have I observed this sentiment within any significant portion of the American electorate.
Gloria de la riva.  Not AOC; she just wants Medicare for all; I don’t agree with her on it, but the people that live in countries with Medicare for all like it, so Medicare for all supporters won’t be sent to Cuba.  It would be the communists and all the people that want America to be communist that would get sent to Cuba.

It sounds like an entirely made up phenomenon.

It’s not; I’ve met multiple people on the internet that I would send to Cuba, 2 of whom I know personally.  Cuba will give them free food, clothing, healthcare, and housing.  Be sure not to criticize the government though, or else you will be jailed and maybe killed.  America is where woke goes to die.

We won’t be in an echo chamber.  53% of Americans voted for Biden.  If we replace the white entitled communist Cuba lover with a working class America loving Cuban and the 2020 election was copied, Biden would win 50% of the vote.  This is far from an echo chamber.
