3 parties

Democrat  50% of the country

Republican 10%

White  40%

This is why the Republican Party can’t condemn Trump

Is 10% even enough for "major" party? Ideally, a 3-party system would split among all approximately 33% apiece.

You do have 3 political groups.

Dyed in the wool Republicans.

Dyed in the wool Democrats.

Moderates. People who actually think about what they are voting for. Rather than just gormless flag waving.

I would love to understand the logic of “if person believes XYZ along with a sizable portion of the country, then they didn’t arrive at these beliefs on their own”

I'm not sure what you mean.

But belief is an odd concept at the best of times.

Please clarify.

We have “Independents” People who don’t know what they want. Is that what you mean?

Nope, I mean moderates.

Thinkers with no political affiliation.

As opposed to non-thinkers, who just stick a cross on a ballot paper in the usual box.

What are these percentages you're throwing around? Are you trying to say that the Democrats have 50% support, the Republicans have 10% support, and the "White Party" has 40% support? What is "White" supposed to represent? A hypothetical party for White people? 40% of Republicans are White?

And what does this have to do with the Republican Party not being able to condemn Trump? I'm so confused because it just seems like a bunch of random numbers thrown together.

Reminds me of that Yogi Berra quote:

"Baseball is 90% mental and the other half is physical."

40% of voters support Trump. That 40% comes from the half of the country that votes Republican in any given election.

But if we were to form a new White Party, the party of White Grievance/White Supremacy, then the Republican Party would be gutted, and have just 10% of the national vote.

If the Republican Party condemned Trump for, you know, attempting a coup, Trump would leave the Republican Party and take his idiot voters with him and start a new party - the White Party.

I fully support the Democrat party re-branding itself as anti-white.

And I hope the Republican Party sticks with the loser Trump so they keep losing elections.

A lot of studies seem to show about 4 actual American ideologies that compete for 2 parties

1. Moderates such as Bush or Clinton would be in this party

2. Evangelicals people like pat Buchanan would be in this one

3. Socialists like Bernie Sanders

4. Libertarians like the Pauls
