I don't know if this is the right section, but whatever. I am aware that I have no presence on this site, but ask me questions if you are bored.

Why did you never follow up on your DP question to me?
-->
@RationalMadman
Sorry, looking back to find it. Could you remind me what it was? I kbow I didn't vote for a while, if that's what it is. I don't have too much time due to family coming over for a while and the massive amount of midterm work.
Oh NVM. You mean the death penalty. Would you support the death penalty for murderers? What would you prioritize as a PM out of these three things:
1. Climate Change
2. Poverty
3. Drugs

Prime minister of UK? Or what? Pls ask me in my thread so we can have a symbiotic relationship.
-->
@blamonkey
I've replied to you there.
What kind of music do you like?
-->
@KingLaddy01
Typically, I enjoy grunge and classic rock music. I do listen to video game soundtracks once in a while as well. What is the type of music you enjoy?
-->
@blamonkey
It's hard to say. I have music that I like from almost every genre.
I've also had many phases, including my hip hop gansta phase, edgy grunge phase, pop phase, video game, etc.
In recent years I have taken my time to appreciate earlier works as hip hop/pop dominates the industry. Psychadelic rock, new wave rock, reggae, ska, R&B, funk, etc.
What is your favorite modern console game? Mine is Red Dead Redemption 2. Beautiful, addicting game.
I also like old country music. Like, 1950's and below old. New country music is trash.
-->
@KingLaddy01
I actually don't play too many modern console games. I'm a bit broke as other is. I do enjoy Persona 5 (even though I really only played it a few times.) I am a huge fan of recent indie games though.
What's the meaning behind your name blamonkey?
-->
@ethang5
It is actually my initials B-L-A plus the word monkey. When I was 12, I saw my grandma use the same method when she created a username for a site. In other words, I committed plagiarism.

What would you rate Trump's job as president out of ten so far? What was his greatest achievement, what was his biggest mistake?
Also, your opinions on elephants and microwavable quinoa.
-->
@Trent0405
I don't think I can numerically determine the quality of a presidency, particularly one that is still in progress. I generally respond with apathy to most of his political maneuvers. There is plenty to object to, but I've learned that displaying any attachment and/or repulsion toward a politician invites others to dispense vitriolic attacks. I don't want to be part of it, especially since people I know tend to disagree with me.
As far as microwavable quinoa is concerned, I never thought about it until now and it sounds repugnant. Elephants are cool.
-->
@blamonkey
Cool, thanks for your response and I understand your perspective. But, after seeing your opinion on microwavable quinoa, I doubt we could ever be friends(JK). At least you like elephants.
Best of luck to you.

@Trent0405
Thanks! Incidentally, I've never tried microwavable quinoa, so perhaps it's good. ;)

Hypothetically speaking:
The US is a direct democracy (all about votes so no electoral college) and the candidates are Trump and Biden. Your vote decides who gets into office. You know this because I am God and I made you feel like that way or simply demonstrated it to you.
Who would you pick?
-->
@TheRealNihilist
It is quaint to see someone who purports to be a nihilist defend the possibility of a god. I am being facetious, of course.
My positions align closer to Biden's platform than Trump's. Either I would vote for Biden, (assuming you are as omniscient as you proclaim yourself to be,) or I would abstain from voting. I would probably choose the latter simply because I don't want an entire 4-year term to rest on my shoulders.
Incidentally, if this post causes a flamewar, I am going to direct said user to post 14. I don't particularly care for wither candidate, but I can argue effectively for any candidate. Additionally, I am still wary of supporting any candidate since it might incite a flamewar that Bsh1 would have to put out by locking this thread.

Life has no objective meaning. Doesn't mean I can't make shit up.It is quaint to see someone who purports to be a nihilist defend the possibility of a god.

Look whoever has the courage to start this. Just say to them two words. "Debate me". If they don't accept then you argue about that until they look even more bad or realize well instead of arguing in the comments we could be making a debate about it. That way you can debate the person who started the flame-war while also wining.

I'm a mod now, AMA
How does it feel to have power? Can you shoot lasers out of your eyes now or something?
-->
@Trent0405
If by "power" you mean I can remove bad votes, then not much has changed besides the laser eyes and omniscience.

Would you say that non Americans are more likely to vote against Trump for the obvious reason that he puts America first and liberals tend to put Ameuca last?
-->
@Wylted
Discerning the reasons why someone votes for a particular candidate is a fool's errand. People will rationalize their vote in varying ways to justify their decision. That said, I doubt that non-Americans who happen to emigrate hear are clamoring for the destruction of the US. They would be in as much harm as any US-born person if the country collapsed.
Incidentally, your perspective on liberals is not shared universally. People have made cogent arguments in support of some liberal policies while others miss the mark. The same thing could be said for conservative policies. So, a liberal might vote against Trump because they think his policies would put America last.
I couldn't post before because of real life obligations that had to be met.

I know you hate politics and all, but if you had one issue that was most important to you, what would it be? You don't even need to say your position because of the ensuing 'flame war'.
Also, what is your opinion on turtles? I must know!
-->
@bmdrocks21
I had to think about your question for a bit. To find a singular issue that supplants all others in importance is rather difficult. That said, the primary political issue that irks me more than others would probably be one of the three following items:
1. Mutual nuclear disarmament and/or non-proliferation between nuclear armed states as well as the protection of fissile material.
2. Finding a sustainable means-tested program to aid the poor without disincentivising work while also having a minimal impact on the budget (i.e. the EITC after some alterations.)
3. Ameliorating climate change and preparing for its inevitable impacts on agriculture, national security etc.
I couldn't decide which one was more important than the other, but there you go. I think I worded these issues sufficiently to avoid flame-wars.
Oh, and turtles are cool insofar as stay away from my delectable fingers. I need those.

In conversations with liberal . I can tell you they honestly hate America. They'll continually talk about how America is shit. America is racist, America is sexist . People in socialist countries such as Venezuela are doing better and we should have the same policies here. Yadda yadda yada
-->
@Wylted
Who are you talking to? I've talked to plenty of conservatives and liberals and they both have criticisms for America. Do conservatives hate America because of unfettered spending practices? No, they aim to change those policies with their vote. Do liberals hate America because they perceive systemic racism? No, they try to change it with their vote. Also, most people who subscribe to a particular political ideology are moderate. I'd be curious to see if the people you talked to are representative of all liberals in the US.

Oh, that bio is a joke. I tried to think of the most boring person in the world and what their bio would be. I think I succeeded.
