Tips for improving your debating skills?

I am pretty sure it cant be improved. American public education system doesnt work, and private schools are mostly about lying and trying to get raped so you have something to complain about for the rest of your life.

You are suggesting that because education is skewed in the US, skills for debating cannot be improved. Is that what you mean?

Yes.

I taught myself how to debate, outside of my formal education. 

I like to play a game with my friend where we have an argument, utilizing as many logical fallacies as we can cram in. It really helps familiarize you with the forms of those fallacies.
