What's your general argument for abortion? I respect you as a logical and knowledgeable user, so am keen to know.

As long as you also stand by that psychopathic mindset for the rich helping the poor, elderly and/or disabled, I can see consistency in your core framework.

A premature born baby is needy, drains resources of others to sustain and you would say it is cool if we terminate it if the hospital and parents say bye to him/her.

America was founded of the principle of not liking the place the founders lived so they left. That's why the called America the New world. Fuck the old world and its tyranny. America has become the old world the founders fled.

What's the moral difference between spaying and nuetering those who wont control their reproductive system and aborting the babies they produce. Isn't the ability to control your reproductive system one of the key differences between being human and just another animal?

Very true. We have all kinds if foreplay to enjoy and dildos, flashlights etc to use if one needs the sensation.

Contraceptives exist but should be more readily available to the poor.

What's your general argument for abortion? I respect you as a logical and knowledgeable user, so am keen to know.
I can go more in-depth, but it breaks down to three pieces:

1) The beginning of personhood isn't something that we can establish scientifically. In the absence of that certainty, I don't think the question of when a person begins is pertinent.
2) Determining whose rights (the unborn or the mother) matter more is also tricky, partly for that reason (comparing between the rights of a known person and an unknown person) and partly due to a set of other factors that affect whether the unborn will successfully be born into the world alive.
3) The set of harms that result from implementing anti-abortion laws is easily predictable. This is the biggest sticking point for me - I don't think there are good ways to implement the kinds of policies that a pro-life standpoint (treating abortion as murder or even akin to murder) would demand, and the degree of harm that would result from these policies is substantial.

I can get into all three of these, but that last one in particular is the one that drives most of my views on abortion when it comes to policy. In the abstract (i.e. taking policy out of it and just discussing it as a moral issue), I think the issue is much more complicated.

As long as you also stand by that psychopathic mindset for the rich helping the poor, elderly and/or disabled, I can see consistency in your core framework.

It seems you are having difficulty addressing my arguments. There is quite a difference between being required to allow one's body to be used for the benefit of others and charity.

A premature born baby is needy, drains resources of others to sustain and you would say it is cool if we terminate it if the hospital and parents say bye to him/her.
What are you talking about? Infanticide is, and should remain, illegal.

I talked about welfare and public institutions and services, not charity itself.

Unless they're unborn, then it's free pickings to you.

Charity, welfare, tax-supported assistance programs...it makes the comparison no better. There is quite a difference between the reasonable expectation and degree of control over oneself  and that of public services.

Unless they're unborn, then it's free pickings to you.
Actually, I find your standard for abortion (what is it, 3 months?) reasonable.

Is it really? What doesn't the US govt impose a tax, a  user fee or require a license and fee? Old world England was actually more free than the US is today.

Totally agree.  States are supposed to do this anyway.  The Federal government has far too much power, far more than any founder intended and has held the same for far too long.

Fewer priorities are more compelling than restricting its size and scope.  This is what occurred with the recent decision concerning abortion.  Roe was not overturned, only limited according to the constitution's requirements.

China had it right when they encouraged the slaughter of millions of female fetuses with their 1 child  policy.

You have lost. You cant respond to anything without insults. Your views, opinions and positions are weak. You cant deal with the idea that abortion is not covered  in the constitution and that individual states are to decide, which the constitution clearly states.

See the 10th Amendment>>>The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

There's nothing in the goddamn Constitution about having cancer removed from your body either but people have that done. Sound like a freaking idiot. The only reason you think it's okay to keep women from having abortions it's because you hate women and you hate that they have sex. Because you don't have any problem with the men they fuck. So you can keep running your mouth about whatever you want to. Because none of you people that are pro-life ever talk about changing adoption laws, changing the foster care system, making every child under 18 covered by insurance, making sure that people who are single parent or double working parents that don't make enough can have daycare and affordable price and you certainly don't want to help any family out financially especially if it's a single parent home with a woman in charge. If you honestly cared about children then every child under the age of 18 in the United States of America would have health insurance 100% covered and would be fed. This is nothing more than hating women it is not about babies it is not about children you're all liars your actions otherwise prove it. And whether or not you or anyone else agrees with me doesn't matter to me. I see people's actions and I make the judgment call and if you want to say that judgment calls wrong that's fine but I know better. I worked in the goddamn system and I watch kids languish in foster care nobody gives a crap. To take your oh it's for the baby's b******* shove it up your ass.

Roe v Wade clearly violated the 10th amendment.

Legislation from the bench is a greater threat to Democracy than some cosplay shaman taking selfies.

Are you comparing cancer to an abortion? I rest my case. Pregnancy isn't a disease. Pregnancy is a result of two people having sex and creating a baby. LOL Oh and cancer isn't in the constitution either. That's why healthcare isn't a right either.
