Orange Clarence Thomas and Wife

Well, that why the Republicans picked Thomas to replace Thurgood Marshall—perhaps best known as the first African American Supreme Court justice. They knew he had a White wife.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said on Thursday that he will oppose Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson's Supreme Court nomination because she does not have a WHITE husband.

It's not like there were a lot of other conservative black judges to choose from.   If you had decided to elevate from the Court of Appeals and that Marshall's replacement should be Black then Thomas was the first and only Black judge ever elevated to that court by a Republican president and that had only been by Bush himself in the previous year.  White wife or no, Thomas was one of only a handful of Black Federal judges and the only one of those to be a reliable Republican Party insider- most of his career had been within the Reagan Administration or as a lobbyist for Monsanto.

I think Clarence is the one justice who I wouldn't replace.

If I were a Republican conspiracy Fundamentalist, this would all seem like racial version of the Manchruian Candidate, and their belief that Orange Trumpet had the fore thought many years ago to get Ginni Thomas to get into Clarence's pants, grab him by the balls an be the only justice to vote no, to Jan 6 insurrection.

Its bad enough these republicans lack morals, but to believe and encourage all the false narrative, they are not far behind Putin pushing false narrative and his Russian people. Sic-n-head these people. Sad  :--(
