One of my friends told me you can get surgery to connect a mount to your tail bone that lets you hook tails to your body. I don't know if it's true and I really hope it isn't, but something tells me that it is, and that makes me very, very sad.

The only animal things you should consider wearing are animal prints or fur.
Animal tails are for people wanting to escape reality (i.e. be a brony or whatever), and perpetual infantalism isn't healthy, let alone fashionable.
I legitimately cant think of a single instance when wearing an animal tail WOULD be fashionable.... I think I remember Cam Newton had a raccoon tail hanging from a side belt loop in a post game press conference, but I would hardly call that 'fashionable'

Globally, I don't think animal tails are widely popular at the moment,
