Not sure that you are fully understanding of the term "Pagan" Poly.

Or the term atheist, for that matter.

Atheist Pagans is a contradiction in terms.

And "LOL" is you laughing at yourself.

Feel free to pass it on to Iceland. Seem their atheists are dumber than theists. Better tell them to shape up.

We are both well and kicking, though the lovely Mrs. E looks better doing it. 😀

...if they have churches then they are no longer atheists
Wait, wait. I thought the only thing defining atheists was a lack of belief in God?

Why would a church change an atheist who still lacked a belief in God?

It's what we refer to as historical re-enactment Poly.

Not unlike popular theism.

In fact just like popular theism.

Put on your best clothes and chant a lot.

And perhaps even process and attempt to look meaningful.

I prefer to ride my bike.

I put on my best cycling clobber and attempt to look sleek.

What about you Poly?

Do you enjoy dressing up when you're doing your polytheistic stuff?

If a Christian dressed like Jesus to go to church I would laugh at them and so would you. LARP is not a religion. I have no issue with clergy wearing something sacred or special but I am not a Viking. It's 2021, I am usually in jeans and a t shirt.

Maybe so.

But Icelanders dressing up as Vikings and pretending to worship mythical Norse Gods is very much LARP.

And for sure, clergy dressing for effect is all part of the show.
