Yes and no. He speaks telepathically, but as far as I know, he can't actually "say" words in a physical sense. To my recollection, Team Rocket's Meowth is the only one from this season that can speak normally.

I'd like to know the justification for that because Mewtwo is straight up a villain throughout almost all of the first movie, even if he has a tragic backstory

Miller is not an SOP claim. It is a scum claim or retard town claim. Thi k about the logic behind claiming a vanilla role that needs to draw the NK.

1. They lose the ability to draw the NK
2. They are a convenient mislynch at lylo mylo
3. It is a convenient fake claim for scum

Now think about the tard logic for claiming 

1. "Derp, a cop might investigate"

Literal 1/8 chance of that happening in the np, plus cops are usually killed early or if you weren't a tad and drew the NK like you were supposed to than it isn't an issue anyway. Plus you may be town read early, meaning you will not get investigated anyway, destroying the benefit of claiming.

2. "Derp could be a mislynch if scum result at mylo"

Nope, at mylo and lylo, we should be extremely skeptical of results. Plus the same exact conversation will happen at mylo/lylo about the believability of your claim. So you are in the same position and people are stuck relying on behavioral reads anyway. 

Don't accept either thing town. If this is tad logic, disc is a tad and a liability to town. If it isn't tad logic, that makes disc scum

I once bought a Pokémon Sun and Moon starter set and a bunch of packs for my nephew.  I took him and his friends  to a couple of sessions at the local game store to get taught strategy and trading.  That's pretty much the extent of my experience (and interest) in the game.

I agree with this in principle, in practice however this particular group of players is stupid enough to think it is an sop so I am kinda forced to conform in case I am copped so people don't go "OH BUT WHY DIDN'T YOU SOP INSTALYNCH!!!"

Not even I expected them to go the extra retard mile and say they want to policy lynch me though. I think I should be judged on behavior and theme analysis. Really disappointing to see people going the lazy "policy lynch" route.

Play Advice

If you are a Miller, there are two schools of thought about optimal play:

The first school of thought is that you should claim immediately, ideally in your opening post. This ensures that the Cop will not waste an investigation on you. It becomes more likely that you will be eliminated or shot by a Vigilante, however; otherwise, it would be too easy for Mafia to fakeclaim Miller as well. This is by far the most common way to play the role on mafiascum.net.

I’d have to disagree. A policy lynch on Disc assuming no alternatives is the best position here. Mods do give Miller as a fake claim. Don’t know if Poly would but better safe than sorry. His role has no use to us anyways + it helps POE and doesn’t create a headache at MYLO or LYLO like Wylted said.
