Three capitalized, contradictory statements.

A sci-fi film

And a young chap with a weak beard.


Though I would assume that evolution necessitates, that one day control must be ceded to AI.

To assume that humanity is and always will be at the top of the intellectual tree, is perhaps unrealistic.

That we now have these conversations, might indicative of the future.


And why would AI need paperclips.....Or Paper for that matter.

Actions that would profit me, such as predicting the stock market.
Actions that would prevent it from ever being able to physically 'do anything, or acquire power.

In order to properly predict the stock market, the machine would need access to a lot of information.

And in order to maximize profit, the machine would need to be able to communicate with (manipulate) others.

Do you really think the stock market would be the best vector of attack in order to secure your own personal financial independence ?

Just a small profit, would be sufficient for me to then make my own efforts.

If the computer is better at humans, at predicting it.

But do you really think you could just leave that genie in the bottle ?

Don't you think you might want to use it to solve other problems perhaps at some point ?

I mean, you've basically got the combined brains of einstein, elon musk, and warren buffett at your personal disposal.
