Well... today I graduate.

In a few hours I graduate high school and am officially semi-free from the government's grip. I'm highly excited for a break from the constant grind, and am even more excited for my future prospects. Anyway, I hope you all have been doing well during my absence. I've been largely inactive for the past month and a half in order to focus on school, but with my newfound freedom I will be able to commit a lot more time to the site and catch up on the current happenings.

Congratulations on finishing one part of your life and starting a new one. I loved when high school was finished everything changes after that.

I was not gonna say anything as it all sounded too cynical but I think I figured out a socially acceptable way to be a buzzkill (step 1, post late enough that the others had chance to congratulate).

You've done, I assume, well in your high school exams and are now heading off to college and the rest of your life. It's great but so was every moment leading up to it and the moment you read this now.

I just wanted to say that. Each user here may be going through shit or high-hope moments, either way each moment serves its purpose and as for 'freedom', it's true school is a regimented environment in most countries, US is included in that majority. On the other hand, adult life is no walk in the park, that cliché saying that Spiderman has applies now and for the rest of your life.

Be responsible, be smart and be ready to have life hit you in the stomach hard even though you were both. That's what adulthood is, welcome to it and be great.
