The group thing is a total non-issue. Lunatic had a "group" character in his Dark Crystal mafia. Doesn't lean one way or the other.
You forget to mention that 2/3 “group” roles were scum. And that game it was talking about species as a group.

Wf doesn't want to claim a universe because it reveals his role. 

This implies there are not multiple bad guys. That his universe so clearly has an overarching villan that it gives away that much. 


I'm willing to pressure on this (not for role but for universe)


To tie him to it and test what he's saying. If he claims something that's not overwhelmingly obvious. We may have hit money this game. 

More likely he is trying to see other universes claimed before he claims so it's safe

Dude, seriously, do you just want to give every bit of info away to scum before the NP? Pushing for all these claims will screw us over, and I can’t fathom why you’re doing it if you’re not scum yourself. This effort to get every claim you can just screams anti-town to me because you will out a power role or two and get them killed. If you are town, then you’re awfully quick to push like this when you know that all this information is likely to benefit scum more than town at this stage, and jumping so hard on Speed just seems barely justified at this stage.

It's perfectly clear. I'm willing to test that. What are you saying is your universe will out your character and your character will out your role. 

For that to be true there can only be 1 overwhelming antagonist and that antagonist has to be so easy to read that it's not worth you claiming the universe


Cases so far that's not true 

Lotr could be like 4 people 
Walking dead - could be like 6
Got - could be like 20


I'm absolutely willing to test this. In this situation you always claim at least the universe. Your are waffling
