A couple days ago, I was feeling really tired and had a runny nose. I thought it was a normal sickness until my mom started to develop symptoms, loss of taste, sore throat. My mom took a test and tested positive. So I went to take a test and it turns out my test results were positive. My 2021 is going amazing :). I'm fine after that. I have smell and taste, feel nothing at all
I have COVID-19

Good luck supa
Thanks all!
I hope you feel better
You will be healthy no doubt, as you describe relatively asymptomatic mild-edition Covid. Your mother and anyone else who has a more severe version is who to truly wish the best for.
touch wood all should be well, rest and get a lot of vitamin C and protein. The biggest thing people forget is that while resting indoors we lack vitamin D more than C; D matters to the immune system. Vitamin D is what you get from sunlight, I would advise to get a supplement.

Thanks. Moms and Dads symptoms are getting better. I went out and snowblowed my driveway yesterday so I'm trying to do little things while keeping safe. But I have been taking a Vitamin D supplement just so I can boost immune system. What's weird is that my mom got the COVID vaccine, so it didn't really help her

@Vader
It is predicted to take at least 2 weeks to work, if she got the vaccine less than 2-3 weeks ago, that would be why. The vaccines are all still in the equivalent of a late trial run, even though they've been released. They're fairly guaranteed to have no severe side effects but in terms of their capacity to stop Covid and its spread, they are all not fully confirmed but to be honest you can't test or confirm something like that until real world application.

@RationalMadman
I'd honestly agree with you with that. The Pfizer Vaccine comes in 2 doses and it probably did nothing, it's mostly a feel good thing to try to swoon the population. And yea you are right it was definitely less than 2 weeks, so you are right.

Do you have evidence?

@Death23
Experience. Mom got 1st dose 2 weeks before.
-->
@Vader
She got 1st dose a few weeks prior to being infected? It's not fully effective until two weeks after the second dose.
At best it would be ~52% effective if it's only first dose.

Glad to hear. Is there a better search engine than Google?
Seriously, hope all is well. Best wishes.
