Yes there is because God loves analorgies to explain what he means and like there is the topic about context here and it shows that many peoples they find different meanings out of the bible. But when you have an analorgy or a metaphor then you can paint the picture of what your meaning like in John where there is a good analorgy
John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst." ... Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again.
So Jesus was painting the picture of him being a loaf of bread and that the peoples could eat him but what he really ment was that he will give the peoples some food so it is just an analorgy.
John 8:12, NIV: "When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, 'I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.
You see here that Jesus is painting the picture with light like being at the end of the tunnel for the peoples and the analorgy that he made is that he gives peoples hope.
Deuteronomy 32:4 He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.
So God isnt really made of rock but you can compare him to what a rock does but not because the rock does nothing it is because the rock is hard and if your try to hit it it will hurt you so you can see the analorgy their to.
Genesis 19 Atheists call this just porno and crime but it is really an analorgy about sin and judgement about what happens when all of mankind goes to far. It doesnt mean that all of that stuff really happened it is just an analorgy.
