Could the really be a multiverse?

so what is you thoughts on the possibility on the multiverse?

"A multiverse" is a contradiction in terms.

There is either a universe.....Or there are multiverses.

Uni meaning one and multi meaning many.

I think space is layered. So yes I believe in a multiverse.

This is honestly one of the issues I go back and forth on. I see no reason why a multiverse couldn't exist, but I also see no reason to think it does. Right now I lean more towards 'no', but I could easily switch my stance again.

Absolutely, and the multiverse theory coincides with the proposition of the afterlife although most religious proponents may not define it that way. There are several parallel universes beyond the immediate physical universe. This has been proposed in religious circles long before philosophical inquiries. Check out "subtle body", Buddhist cosmology and the Godworlds (Eckankar). Check out the book called "The Tigers Fang" by Paul Twitchell.

I dont think it is possible, since, Gravity   coheres all  occupied space as one { Uni }.

Multi-verse  --multiple set of local universe's--  invokes the idea that seperate Universe's are moving away from each other at speeds, just beyond that of EMRadiation.

This is in a similar vein --not exactly the same--   as our current understanding of our expanding Universe and repulsive Dark Energy, wherein most galaxies are speeding away --and gaining speed-- from each other.  This is the loaf of rasin bread, in the oven scenario, where the raisins are likened to galaxies and dough is the Dark Energy space between galaxies or, multiple local universe's.

1} the space between local universes is alledged to be expanding at speeds faster than radiation, ergo no two local universe's every meet and there cannot be unification as a/the,  wholistically one, Universe,

2} the space between galaxies or local universe's is expanding then that space is an occupied space, ergo all are connected i.e. a line-of-relationship exists between them all ergo one unified wholistic set,

3} there is no infinite set of local universe's.  There is one finite set ergo wholistically integral set of systemic and structural relationships, that, can never get outside of the positive geodesic curvature that cohere's them as one finite set.

The multiverse can be though of as an atheistic alternative to

"God did it"

to explain the fine-tuning of the universe.

I see no reason to believe in that theory if one is not an atheists, but if one is then it is almost necesary to believe in this theory (or some other one)

Okay... but how does that inform some sort of problem with the post? Was your only intention to say that you didn't like the idea of a multiverse? The original post, "This aint spiderman" seemed to imply that you thought the multiverse theory untrue, now, I tend to agree with that, but what is your specific reasoning for thinking so?
