mikal has bumped his way into being one of my top scum reads again lol. Whiteflame analysis made me lose brain cells, combined with the overtly defensive claiming because of what I thought was a joking interaction early. That makes him softing his role to me even more scummy. 

I think we focus him dp2, after water.

I’m not linking you to town based on the character you claimed. I’m saying that it’s more likely that you didn’t lie about your character. It’s possible that you’re still mafia, but I can’t make that call now. I can only call possible liars when it comes to character claims. You don’t like the strategy? I seriously don’t know how to explain this better. You would have been called out if you were lying about your character because either Stormbreaker or Mjolnir are almost certainly in this game. You weren’t called on it, so I buy the claim. Other roles that have been claimed are far less likely to appear in this game, so they were safe claims, i.e. those people could much more easily lie about their claims. A lie makes them sus. You telling the truth about your claim, as I suspect you are, makes you not sus to me. Does that make you definitely town? No. Thanks for the reminder that you can still be town even if you’re not lying about your character claim. I obviously never considered that.

I'm going to drop it after this because we argue about this same thing every damn game, but lurking is not the same as 0-posting. A 0 poster isn't posting for a reason, usually they haven't seen the game. Voting them doesn't incentivize activity. Lurking is not what he was doing.

What's the square root rule? Only rule I've ever heard is 25% rounded down, and 8v3 would violate that rule

It was something Smithereens from DDO said when I was designing my first game. I remember him saying something along the lines of the most number of scum in a game is the square root of the total players rounded down

Well, we've already got a BP and a doctor, if this is true. I do think Water's character better fits the doctor role than Cap's Shield. Maybe Bodyguard?
