Abortion: Pro-life or pro-choice or anything in between? Do you support more available contraception as well as childcare in America if you are pro-life, and do you think abortion is moral if pro-choice?

i am pro choice but abortion is immoral. It just so happens that denying abortion is more immoral.

I don't really have a favorite yet. Definitely not Systemic Racism, LOL. But since my expertise is science related I like topics that can be rationally found with research.

Certainly. The username is just a motivation. I'll just keep track who defeated me and try to win back against them. It's not a 100% ironclad thing like Ragnar's win streak.

What do you think of our debate? Do you think anyone will vote on it? Who do you personally feel won? How is your day going?

i think whiteflame will vote. I personally think your point is really obfuscated. Either I win or we tied. Whiteflame really cares about impact and you just used logic, you didn’t link anything together strongly as far as I can see. I made the point that there must be a convincing connection and put a lot of holes in neuroscience. I’m relatively confident you haven’t broken my namesake yet but we’ll see. Also my day was fine but tiring thanks for asking.

Fair enough, I mean I disagree, but we'll leave that for the voters. It was a fun debate for me at least. And I'm glad you had a good day! No problem at all.

In other words, you offer the evidence and say scientists use this to predict subconscious action, but where is the impact on this? Does it really negate the other possibilities? Whiteflame is going to ask these questions to himself if he reads through the debate. I only have to show lack of impact which is arguably easier.

The problem was even proving there were possibilities, which i don't think you did, but I guess.

i guess it’s tough to say for sure. If whiteflame buys that game theory is more trustworthy than science I could win

What's your opinion on Sentimentalism?

I got this idea from Stanford:

For moral sentimentalists, our emotions and desires play a leadingrole in the anatomy of morality. Some believe moral thoughts arefundamentally sentimental...or that emotions are theprimary source of moral knowledge.

I agree. Utilitarianism originally desired happiness. Even Kant’s intentions are field by emotion. Characteristic of action is also driven by sentiment. But it seems a bit like an easy way out. Just because robots have no emotion doesn’t mean they can’t perform moral acts

You said you come from a science background. What's your major and have you done any work in a lab? Any specific science topics you'd like to debate?

I'm working on a computer science major. As I said, I can debate nearly anything so long as I can get a foothold on research.

Either with Whiteflame voting on my debate against MisterChris, or so long as I do my research well and Whiteflame doesn't accept any of my debates, lol.
