It's a glitch that is to do with text boxes and android's chrome browser. I experienced this too with different websites. It takes me to the last tab I had open (or site I was on) it doesn't even necessarily need to be a debate art subsite. It acts whenever the text box is held down on for me and I hope it gets fixed soon, I have no idea what the catalyst is but basically it either requires me to fully close all tabs and reopen the web browser or it never has a problem and I can't work out why.

I am perceiving a lot of access to DArt via phones. I find that an impossible device for use since my hands and fingers are quite large. My hand from wrist to middle fingertip is nearly 23cm, and, across the palm, about 11cm. My thumb is 2.75mm wide and index finger 2cm wide. Texting is virtually impossible via thumbs given the size of a keypad on a phone, and using a single digit is just as difficult. I use my phone for vocal comm only. Even the keypads on my Mac Book and iPad are troublesome. 99% of my access to DArt is via iMac, and I wish its keyboard were larger. Sometimes, I am very envious of my petite bride of 47 years.

Yes. I don't know why it happens but it does. My phone is also $20, so this may be unique to me. I replicated it like 5 times though just a few hours ago. At first I though it was my big fingers but I expanded the window and was careful and it still happened
Huh, that's something new, I will try to fix it somehow, also I will look into what RM said.

I am afraid the keyboard is provided by your phone, not by the website so hopefully it's possible to somehow bump the font size in your phone's settings

What about emoji reactions?  So if the losing side goes AFK and forfeits 3 rounds I can use the "thumbs up" emoji as recognition of their graceful surrender.

When a user has had their ability to report things removed, it still appears to the user as if they can physically report votes on debates. This results in them genuinely clicking it and it changing to 'cancel report' as if it's gone through yet nothing is received in the system. I know this because of an incident that arose with MisterChris' vote. You can thank me later.

Just wanted to let you know guys that I've been doing a huge upgrade and it will fix many glitches ( probably not without creating new ones ), add support for private chats with more than 1 person, add redesigned profile pages that would have a "wallpaper" image the Twitter style, have 100% mobile support and quite a few more but due to the amount of work, I am afraid it will see the light of day only in a couple of months :/ But I will show you some pictures in a couple of weeks if everything goes well :)

Um, I think there should be a feature that allows moderators to reduce the time for an interlocutor to respond if said interlocutor's account was banned.

Also if a debate ends on a no-vote tie (and it wasn't a forfeited debate) that a moderator could vote on it.

Have you considered making the "block" option also function to make both participants mutually invisible?

I'd like to be able to turn some notifications off. I can change whether I get email notifications, but not in-site notifications.
Whenever I post a forum topic and some responds to it while mentioning me, I get 2 notifications. I only need 1, but I realized I couldn't actually turn off either of them when I went into settings.

You know how Instagram has features where you can film yourself talking and send it to a person or in a thread?  Try putting that on here.

Can you allow anyone to be on DART regardless of age?  I have a dream where people are judged not by the number of their age but by the content of their character.

I've been having an issue occasionally where I'll get an email that I've forfeited a debate round, but when I check, it's not true. Happened twice now.

Hey guys, there's been a massive code update related to the forum, so if you notice that something is no longer working, please let me know as soon as possible. Especially on the mobile devices coz I have limited resources for testing and I may have missed some issues on iOS or older versions of Android.

I  prefer to use a very old, unsupported browser on a very old unsupported Mac and this update broke my ability to post entirely but I'm not sure it worth the effort.  The update works fine on my iPhone, Linux and Windows10.

To be honest, supporting old browsers is a huge pain in the butt and I don't really aim for that since most people use modern browsers anyway. If you use Internet Explorer or some outdated version of Safari, I can only recommend to update to the latest version, (if it's possible, of course) because I have a strong feeling that DART is not going to be the only website that you will have problems with, especially since there's a trend nowadays that more and more developers drop outdated browsers.

The new update tampered with the layout of my zoom on Chrome. I had this site at 110% zoom originally but since the new update, the text box and text got bigger than needed, and the 100% is too small for me to see

Stylistically, I like the update.

Zooming is fine, but compared to the older versions, it feels as if the text box is more zoomed. Maybe because it is a bigger text font he used?

@DART
Don't worry too much about it, it's a very small problem that I could easily adjust too, but I was just pointing out something I noticed
