Also I noticed that Oromagi accepts like 90% of his debates rather than instigating... that infers that the way to win consistently is to pick a good/vulnerable topic posted by someone else, rather than attempting to start debates yourself.

That's true for all the top-ranked debaters, including me. The only one to regularly instigate is Trent, who sticks to very niche 'this vs that' kind of topics overall.

I'm sad you left before you got to see it, Oromagi lost his 95th debate. It was a good debate though, really quality on both sides, there is absolutely no shame in him loosing there.
