No, you've been farming. Most debaters here only take debates that they think are worthwhile or interesting. You seem to take literally anything you think you can win.
It's not wrong, you can totally do that if you want to (Oromagi does it sometimes). But that's still farming by definition.

Yup. Truth is, the leaderboard is very inadequate for showing the skill of debaters. All it really shows is the ability to farm and the willingness to not forfeit.
I've lost to Virtuoso, someone who is #103 on the leaderboard right now. Admittedly, I was a lot weaker as a debater then, but I was a lot higher on the board than he was at the time.

Eg: I had a debate (now deleted) with Oromagi that Greek Mythology is superior to Roman Mythology. Oro basically in R1 put his mafia reads instead of the argument. However in R2 I had a family issue arise and we mutually agreed to delete the debate, but Oro could've loss of that silly mistake

And I'm the 58th best. I could be higher, but I'm generally too lazy to write up debate arguments, so I don't really debate. You could also be higher rated if you put as much effort into your debates as you put into the tournament debate.
