Bastard States Mafia Endgame

Honestly I feel like this game was more balanced than I expected. I figured balance wasn't a huge issue since it's bastard so I wasn't meticulous in my analysis of balance. I figured 3 mafia vs 9 town was a bit too much for mafia, so I added the lost wolf to make it a bit harder for them.

Disc immediately picked up on the thing Lunatic did (though it was kinda obvious I guess) but he also independently came up with the Lunatic claiming lyncher plan, called speed as doc, and there was something else too. All around great play.

Also, he did watch speed visit Supa with the telescope. Oro's powers were

Town MVP in my opinion was oro, he used the telescope to town confirm himself to disc and force disc to acknowledge as much, then gave supa the 1xbp which was never used but still a solid move. His day play was also good.

Scum MVP was Disc. I don't think I've ever played scum with him but I want to.

Oro played a good game overall

I should've used cop better.

I honestly had Supa in my scum pile. Outing himself as cop but never getting killed or giving useful results seemed fishy.

I would have argued this was the case if town didn't just insta-lynch me without thinking.

I linked the scum PM mostly because lunatic had some strong opinions regarding the game that he was unable to express because of his self-ban and linking the PM gives a chance for some of his opinions to be heard. My opinions on the game:

Lynching lunatic after croc flipped tiwn was not necessarily the wring move but the way it was done was less than optimal. Supa at one point in DP 2 said something like "I am open to discussing the game before lynching but I want to lynch lunatic". That is how the DP should have gone, but it isn't actually how it went. Those were just empty words from supa as he actually just wanted to lynch lunatic and I was scum read for pointing that out.

Scum reading me for "buddying lunatic" was retarded.

Lynching me after speed flipped town seems at face value to be impulsive and stupid but was actually the correct move, though again there should have been discussion. There is never any good reason to end a 3 day DP after 2 after 2 hours. I claimed to see speed visit supa, which after speed flipped town was obviously true so no reason to think I was lying about that, but I also claimed to not see anyone else, which meant that either I was lying about that (which I was) or supa was lying about being blocked (hence lying about being cop hence scum).

Lynching cookie in the last DP was obviously correct. He barely even played the game lol.

In that case he used his role correctly except for the lunatic cop.

My ROLE was compulsive INVENTOR.  I had that exact same ROLE earlier in the year- Ragnar's first game if I remember right.

I failed to take into account one of my scum buddies commiting suicide and the other not playing until the last DP lol.

He only ever joined for the mafia and he has decided that he likes live mafia better than forum mafia (there are some weekly games of live mafia every Friday night you may have heard) so has no reason to continue on the site

The fact that he left and closed account bothers me more. If he said that endgame to me directly, I’d debate him and go on. The fact it was said behind me is what is stinging

It’s small and tbh I don’t care that much to get myself worked up over something like that, but something about it didn’t sit right with me

As far as I remember this is my second loss as scum, though my first loss was when I was a cult leader and one of my own cultists outted me... not sure if that counts.

There’s a button on the phone that increases the volume. If you click the sound button on phone it makes the players louder

You can play without a mic with you just typing no problem, if you can't hear that is an issue though.

what the stuff about too many kids on this site?  Don't take it personally- you can't do anything about your age and I guarantee you'll feel the same way about kids when you are older.  not worth holding a grudge over.

Supa, it's okay. People talk shit about other people all the time. Remember that time you got outrageously drunk and made a whole list of every person on DART in alphabetical order and devoted three paragraphs to each one describing in detail how much they suck? This is just like that but with less people involved.
