I would suggest that spirituality, which is what you are probably inferring, is merely a physiological response to a stimulus, in this case the stimulus is a conscious thought, which itself is a physiological function....All normal internal processes which you  label "soul"....Soul is an simply an utterance which has taken on an emotive quality, that assumes something more than what it actually represents.....Internal data processing with unnecessary bells attached.
