I live in new york and the fireworks are shot beside my house and now I nearly have a PTSD against fireworks or any explosions. Guess not joining the army then.

I really doubt it gave you ptsd but if loud noises making you nervous is the excuse you need to not join the military then okay. I've certainly heard weirder.
