These are common default profile pictures I think. They are seen on sites like wordpress.com.

I remember back then when you are advertising DArt on DDO and your picture is just a bare purple circle under a mono back tone. 

This design is genius. Everyone's colors are different, and the patterns are easy-to-render. So even if you are completely uninterested in uploading a pfp you'd still be identified. I could simply tell the difference between PinkFreud08 and DynamicSquid despite none of those had unique uploaded pfps.
