South Park is really the only TV show I adore. Re runs of the first 9 Simpsons seasons are probably better, but that was a while ago.

@Trent0405
I stopped watching after 3 or 4 seasons but the show has always been big here in Denver because there are many inside Denver jokes. I stop in the town of Fairplay (the actual South Park) pretty often for gas or lunch. South Park itself is a wide beautiful valley in the center of the state and at the crossroads of Colorado- North to Denver, West to Ski, South to the San Luis Valley, East to Pikes Peak.

are you a broncos fan?

Tegridy....tegridy

@Dr.Franklin
Yes, although the truth is I'm too much of a nerd to really get all that into sports and I don't own a tv. I always enjoy going to actual games. I'll watch the games if I'm with family and friends and try to watch the playoffs, big games. I just don't get as invested in it as most Denverites. This season, blech. At least I won't have to watch the Superbowl this year.

Good point
One of South Park's episodes is band in China, which is banned in China, cause they tried to start a band in China.

"Tolerant, but not stupid! Look, just because you have to tolerate something doesn't mean you have to approve of it! If you had to like it, it'd be called the Museum of Acceptance! [the audience looks on] "Tolerate" means you're just putting up with it! You tolerate a crying child sitting next to you on the airplane or, or you tolerate a bad cold. It can still piss you off! Jesus Tapdancing Christ!" - Mr. Garrison

I like that south park has something to say about social issues, current events, sometimes.

South park? As american as it seems, it doesn't seem very south at all. Argentina is south. Lesotho is south. South park is rather north.

South Park, an American animated TV show.
Lot of crude humor and bad animation in early seasons.
Slowly develops over time to be 'slightly less crude, and to say more about relevant social events.

Well, its all relative isn't it? There an island in Alaska called South American Island to distinguish it as the more Southern of two islands not belonging to Russian trappers.
Similarly, South Park got its name from French Trappers who hunted the American West for centuries before English speakers got here. The Platte River is one of the great long rivers than travel across the high plains between the Rocky Mountains and the Mississippi River. In Western Nebraska, the river splits into great forks. The northern branch goes winds north around the Medicine Bow mountain range in southern Wyoming and begins in a place called North Park, Colorado- a beautiful place I know pretty well.
A park in this context is wide mountain valley with slow drainage which makes the valley floor very flat and fertile.
The South Fork of the Platte winds through Northern Colorado. My hometown, Denver CO, was built where the South Platte comes out of the mountains and is fed by a large number of fast moving mountain creeks. The river begins in a place 50 miles southwest of Denver called South Park- the South is relative to French trappers. 50 miles south of South Park is a town called Del Norte mean ing"The North" , called so by Spanish Conquistadors because that was the northernmost point of their explorations out of Mexico City.

Hahaha,
Well, Imagination 'is important to people.
'Concepts, I mean.
Be it Anti Porn Activists and Erotic Fiction Writings and Drawings,
Patriots and the Flag,
Muslims and their Prophet,
Hate Speech on the internet,
Though perhaps I'm blurring imagination and action a bit.
. . .
Still, there's no thought police peering into people's heads,
So the only way thoughts/imagination 'is seen is by 'action, words, behaviors.

Personally, I liked South Park post Covid better the first time, Cartman and Butters were much more, 'animated, to me.
Though Stan and Kyles first future sucked, eh, ending wasn't for me.
You guys see this episode? (season 3 episode 6)

@Discipulus_Didicit

I wish I didn't own one, but can't get the family on board. How long has this been the case?
Don't give Kyle AIDS.

I have no current intention of making it a habit of mine, to call Token, Tolkien.
