What better way to stand out, and for Christian men to possibly “stand up” at a party you’re going to attend, is for the Christian to strip naked in the spirit of our Yahweh/Jesus God as exemplified by Paul, aka, Saul,  in the following scripture:

And he went there to Naioth in Ramah. And the Spirit of God came upon him also, and as he went he prophesied until he came to Naioth in Ramah. And he too stripped off his clothes, and he too prophesied before Samuel and lay naked all that day and all that night. Thus it is said, “Is Saul also among the prophets?” (1 Samuel 19: 23-24)

Just think, subsequent to you stripping naked for the spirit of Jesus coming over you at your next party, you’ll be the life of any party, and will be number one on any party list for future entertainment in showing what the spirit of Jesus will make a TRUE Christian do in His name, praise!

I tried this scenario one time at a Christian only party, where the spirit of Jesus came over me as well, but when I stripped for Jesus as Paul did in the above passage, the women attending gasped in amazement at my manly stature.  Therefore, a long line started to form where these women's husbands were jealous and escorted them home post haste.  Of course Jesus and I were displeased, where maybe next time this situation will have better results.

Doc,

Our Hell had nothing to do with it because it was the husbands that ruined Jesus' spirit coming over me, and where their jealousy got in the way of the situation to fully play out.  :(

Doc,

What did you just say again in trying to refute my words?  Do you remember the last time you tried in vain to do the same thing and fell flat upon your face where you had to apologize to the Brother D? Huh? I will let you pass on this one, you can thank me later.

Listen up Doc, the next time I attend a party like the one shown in my initial post relative to 1 Samuel 19: 23-24, I will invite you to go along as well, okay?  Let's see if the spirit of Jesus comes over you in the same way it did for me.    Albeit, if the spirit of Jesus does come over you and you strip naked for Him in response as did the biblical Paul and myself, I doubt you will have the same reaction towards the women that I did. For that I am truly sorry.  Some of us are godly endowed, therefore, thank you Jesus!!!

Dreadnought,

YOUR UNGODLY QUOTE: "This sounds like religious fanaticism. This sounds like what Hitler'll put into a forum topic."

Just who in the hell do you think you are in calling the inspired words of Jesus, as Yahweh God incarnate, the words of Hitler???!  If you disagree with this direct Bible narrative of the spirit of Jesus coming over you, and where you would strip naked for Him, then most certainly it does not in any way pertain to religious fanaticism! Understood?

Your Devil Speak has certainly sealed your fate to the depths of Hell upon your earthly demise for making such an ungodly statement against Jesus!

I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

I'm asking the OP what exactly members here (us) are to discuss/debate in reference to the story line given in the OP. Like maybe whether or not the Bible condones public nudity?

But I think the OP is better equipped (no pun intended) to answer my question than yourself.

RoderickSpode,

First off, I accept your Freudian slip graciously of being better equipped as I alluded to in the Jesus party narrative given.

The obvious debate would be that if you were a pseudo-christian, even though you’re not a TRUE Christian like myself,  and you were at a party and the spirit of Jesus came over you like it did with Paul, would you or would you not strip for Jesus in front of the party goers?  In essence, if you didn’t strip for Jesus, you are slapping Him in the face in withholding this godly act. If you do strip for Jesus, then you are showing Him your love.  Which would it be for you, strip or not strip, GET IT? HUH?

I keep forgetting that some of Jesus' followers can't read between the given lines. :(

If the Spirit of the Lord came upon me, sure, why not.

I'm a bit puzzled though. Why would you be willing to strip for a God that, as you had stated a number of times, drowned babies?

And I may as well just come out and ask, do you love God with all your heart, mind soul, and body?

Well you asked if I thought you stole something from me, and I basically answered your question by saying no. As far as you stealing from the other party, I have no idea. I never read those posts you linked to.

The whole time I was making light of your many accusations of the Bible stealing from ancient myths. And how ironic it was that you were in a position to have to defend yourself against a similar claim.

What is rather odd though is how you obviously edited your post so that I would see it well after you requested the thread be locked. And even weirder how you just linked right back to it again. Are you aware that it's been thus locked?

And....do really think anyone else cares about any of this?

Stop telling lies. You went further and continued the false claim  and then crept away when it was shown the ridiculous accusation was false.

Of course I am, it was at my suggestion that RationalMadman requested it to be locked. Go read it  #42

Anyway. I suggest you  continue to address the Brothers thread, ?

RoderickSpode,

YOUR REVEALING QUOTE (NO PUN INTENDED): "If the Spirit of the Lord came upon me, sure, why not."

Good for you! You are slowly on your way in becoming a TRUE Christian, instead of your ungodly pseudo-christian status at this time, praise!

YOUR ADDMITANCE OF JESUS DROWNING BABIES:  I'm a bit puzzled though. Why would you be willing to strip for a God that, as you had stated a number of times, drowned babies?"

Again, you are on your way of being a TRUE Christian in positing that Jesus drowned innocent zygotes, fetus' and babies in His Great Flood scenario as their mothers watched in horror as their little ones took their last gasp of air and went under to the depths of the ocean. Barring this enlightenment of yours, I will strip for Jesus anytime His spirit comes upon me, and it matters not of Jesus being a serial killer as explicitly shown throughout the Bible. This is because Jesus offers a heaven without any women present! Seriously, if this isn't enough to follow ALL of Jesus' words, then I don't know what is!  Agreed?  Sure you do, because you have too.

YOUR RHETORICAL QUOTE:  "And I may as well just come out and ask, do you love God with all your heart, mind soul, and body?

Of course I do, and I know that I am preaching to the choir because I have to be saved to be able to inhabit our 1400 square mile heaven with its 60 foot walls (that should keep the JW's out) AND the fact that there will be no women in this glorious heaven, praise!  I am sure you will agree that we had to put up with the 2nd class women while on earth, therefore Jesus knew this and will keep them out of our heaven so we will have peace for a change, praise Jesus!

I have to admit that I was once delusional and very ignorant of the Judeo-Christian bible, then a funny thing happened one day where I actually sat down and started reading the bible myself instead of having it spoon-fed to me at church on Sunday mornings like 99.99% of fake Christians do at their expense. Then I realized that our TRUE Christian faith, and our Jewish leader Jesus the Christ as Yahweh God incarnate, are not all loving and forgiving as we were told for centuries. Nonetheless, we must accept our bible's somewhat disturbing bible axioms and narratives at times, and just move on the best way we can in the name of Jesus, praise!

What's not completely clear is whether or not you view this apparent enlightenment as having to accept a defect, or an acknowledgment of unrecognizable perfection to the human eye.

You mean some random person like Miss Ogynist (who's rumored to possibly have married someone name Phil) will in no way make it to heaven?

RoderickSpode,

YOUR NOT COMING TO TERMS QUOTE REGARDING JESUS BEING A SERIAL KILLER: “What’s not completely clear is whether or not you view this apparent enlightenment as having to accept a defect, or an acknowledgment of unrecognizable perfection to the human eye.”

I am saddened in the fact that subsequent to my statement, you didn’t read it as a complete acceptance of a “defect,” using your term, because it is relative to Jesus allegedly being all loving and forgiving, when as shown throughout the Bible, HE IS NOT!  True Christians accept his killing nature and simply move on.

Besides, in you conversing with me within this thread, and you bringing up the biblical FACT that our Jesus blatantly murdered innocent zygotes, fetus’ and babies in His Temper Tantrum Great Flood, is truly a milestone for you. You are on your way to becoming a TRUE Christian like me, praise!  You should be proud, whereas in becoming a TRUE Christian, you won’t have try and spin doctor exact literal passages away any more of Jesus murdering His creation. Isn't that a blessing?  Sure it is, praise!

YOUR QUOTE WHERE YOU ARE EMBARRASSED IN WHAT TO SAY ABOUT THE TOPIC: “You mean some random person like Miss Ogynist (who's rumored to possibly have married someone name Phil) will in no way make it to heaven?

To play along with your bible ignorance, the answer is yes.  Any TRUE Christian realizes that within the scriptures it shows that women will not be a part of heaven, whereas you should know where these passages reside. If not, then you should hide in embarrassment once again.

Additionally, since heaven is only 1400 square miles, with its 60 foot walls, then seriously, do you think it's almost full 2000 years subsequent to it being described as such? Obviously Hell is burning its inhabitants to powder, therefore it will always have enough room for more of the ungodly. Whats your answer to this biblical fact?

Some notes regarding reports within this topic:
  1. The first post targeted no site members, and was further not explicit adult sexual material. It can be disliked, without being a CoC violation.
  2. BrotherDThomas is the OP. This gives him some leeway within topics he starts, as such makes it an active choice for people to seek engagement with him; presumably knowing his habits. I want to say it would be nice (not required) if he added a warning label, but his user picture implies one.
  3. Reports are taken more seriously if issued by the person targeted.

Ragnar,

I am so sorry that pseudo-christians are taking your valuable time as a moderator in their whining and crying relative to my biblical axiom of stripping for Jesus as 1 Samuel 19: 23-24 promotes in His name.

Unfortunately, there are times when the pseudo-christian faction just can’t accept certain biblical narratives, and as seen ad infinitum upon this forum, they either run away from them, or tattle tale to the moderators on what they think is disgraceful.  In turn, and in this case, they are in fact slapping Jesus in the face by not accepting his inspired word where if one is truly overtaken by His spirit, then it is okay to strip for Him as stated in the verse in question.

What is truly sad, is the fact in how can they find fault with Jesus’ inspired word regarding 1 Samuel 19: 23-24, as if they know more than Jesus?  NOT!

Uh, Christianity is definitely a "cult." therefore I am correct in treating it as such.

CULT: a system of religious veneration and devotion directed toward a particular figure or object.

Thanks for reminding me, praise!

Praise your newly founded and godly enlightenment! Trust me, nobody at a TRUE Christian party can ever be upset with you in acting in an assumed inappropriate manner when you strip naked for Jesus!  This is because all you have to do is to show the party-goers 1 Samuel 19: 23-24 and what it represents, where you'll be the life of the party while praising Jesus!

True Christianity, you can't beat it, praise!

Does it really say this in a bible somewhere?

Lying naked all day at a boys only convention, suggests only one thing to me.

Same as it ever was.

As I continue to state.... A lot of  bible tales are  metaphors for carnal desires....A sort of pre-curser to the porn mag.

zedvictor4,

YOUR UNGODLY QUOTE: " A lot of  bible tales are  metaphors for carnal desires....A sort of pre-curser to the porn mag."

Are you calling Jesus' inspired words as LIES?  There is absolutely NO METAPHOR in the passage in question!

What part of the LITERAL representation of this passage didn't you understand? And he went there to Naioth in Ramah. And the Spirit of God came upon him also, and as he went he prophesied until he came to Naioth in Ramah. And he too stripped off his clothes, and he too prophesied before Samuel and lay naked all that day and all that night. Thus it is said, “Is Saul also among the prophets?” (1 Samuel 19: 23-24)

Are you going to be another "Bible Rewriter" like Tradesecret? :(

YOUR QUOTE: "Oh that is why. And I thought it was abnormal of you to support evil but also support christianity."

As a TRUE Christian, I have had to accept that evil and Christianity are synonymous, especially when our serial killer Jesus, as Yahweh God incarnate, was evil in murdering His creation ad infinitum! Even Jesus mentions that He created evil:  "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things." (Isaiah 45:7 KJV)
