Just FYI the default thing you did was not just pay what you paid but also sign up to pay $3 per month from this point onwards at the 1st of every month (regardless of when in the month you donated it originally). You can turn off the auto-renewal in the settings.

You now can pick a hue (hex code) for a circling colour on your profile picture. Note that it is slightly brighter and 'greyer' than what you pick. I would also say it's even a tiny bit bluer, it goes through a filter of sorts.
