We all know that evolution by natural selection is an irrefutably established fact.

Not only is there an over-abundance of evidence and proof but there are still more and more scientific findings pouring in by the minute to further broaden our understanding of how we got here.

For example, bone fragments found in Siberia recently from the daughter of a Neanderthal mother and Denisovan father. Show a distinct "joining" of different species leading to our current species, Homo sapien.

A few months ago evidence from Mt Carmel in Israel shows the earliest signs of migration from Africa by modern man around 180,000 years ago.

Scientists are now able to match archaeological and paleoenvironmental records to document behavioral change by modern humans in response to climatic variation. Artifacts show a shift from the larger and clunkier tools characterized by teardrop-shaped handaxes, To the more sophisticated and specialized tools of the Middle Stone Age. These tools were dated to 320, 000 years ago, the earliest evidence of this kind of technology in Africa.

What recent evidence of creation has been discovered?
Nil.
How much evidence of creation to date has been accumulated?
Nil.
Creationists have concocted what they call "Creation Science" which really is not a science but is a branch of creationism. Nevertheless, In the absence of actually finding any evidence these so-called (pseudo) scientists spend their time trying (unsuccessfully) to pick holes or find fault with evolution science.

For example, the Piltdown Man fiasco was heralded as "the missing link" in the evolutionary chain of human evolution. Finally, We could pronounce for sure that man had descended from apes. The fossil evidence was a hoax. And who said it was "the" missing link? A creationist. Even by then (1953) the evolutionary links between species had been firmly established.

The so-called discovery of Noah's Arc in 2007 also turned out to be a complete hoax.

So, Creationists as a last resort will always crawl back to the Bible to try and punch some holes into the watertight evidence of evolution.
"We are really in damage control over the slight discrepancy over the age of the earth so let's try telling them that, Nowhere does the Bible state that the earth is 6000 years old. "

Quite right there guys, However through deductions of the lineage of Adam to the Great Flood we get 6000 years (even less if you allow for the exaggerated ages of people back then claimed by the Bible).

"Ah, Ok then, Let's pitch in with the one day equals 2 billion years concept. To God, that's right since he's been around for eternity and does everything on a big scale. "

Uh, Uh. Sorry guys. A day is a day is a day by any interpretation of the word and the Bible's claim of 6 days is grotesquely incorrect and pretty well puts the seal of "Totally Discredited" on the Bible right after the first few pages.

So, We seem to have about 958,769 pieces of evidence and thousands of authoritative papers confirming evolution and, Wait for it:
Zero evidence and numerous hoaxes and excuses in support of Creation.

If creationists ever disprove evolution (and at this rate it just won't happen, will it) what will happen?
Are they going to claim that "Therefore, Creation is true and God exists"?

Yes, No doubt they will.

I think that saying God made the earth 6000 years ago is like saying Immigrants made America 300 years ago.  Did the immigrants physically create America by laying all the dirt for it?  No.  But they established the society for it.

Just as saying that immigrants made America 500 years ago is a metaphor, I think saying that God made the earth 6000 years ago is also a metaphor.  He might have established an earthling government 6000 years ago, just as immigrants did to America 300 years ago.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_history_of_the_world states that the first civilizations were 5000 years ago in ancient Egypt.  Maybe God made one before ancient Egypt that we don't know about due to lack of surviving evidence.

Thoughts?

Yes, but you cancelled it.

You shouldn't take things so personally. I am not a militant by any means but have found that if you don't beat things up a bit the impact will be lacking. Shoot for the stars and you will get to the moon.

For example,I know that Ethong is a gentle lamb in real life, but look at his posts.

Evolution was first postulated as a theory long before Darwin came up with the idea, and it was first postulated by people who believed in God.

If evolution is true, it in no way negates the fact that God created everything.
