Legs legalize and regulate consensual prostitution

I don't see what's wrong with consensual prostitution if regulated, although I'm personally waiting until marriage and if that happens, that I'm being monogamous, but let people live their lives on this.

This is evidence that I'm not an authoritarian.

Alec: I don't want people to be allowed to have children without government permission. I will graciously permit them to have sex with eachother though and even pay eachother for it if they want. Look at me, advocating for great libertarianism.

When did I say this?  People can have children.  They just need to be ready to have the kids before they have the kids.  If they're not, they can still have sex, they just do it with a vastectomy so no unwanted pregnancies or abortions take place.  Why have kids when your not ready?  Why can't people who want to have sex get a vastectomy first so abortions won't occur?

Define "ready".

Abolish government child protective services? Sounds ideal.

Consensual prostitution is already regulated. It's called contractual marriage.

I support legal prostitution and some sensible health and safety regulation. 

From a personal choice and public health standpoint legalizing and regulating prostitution is an easy case to make. The issue of public morals and cultural impact has to be addressed. What's "wrong" with it? Nothing, and yet something. It's something that feels wrong but isn't really wrong, and that's the worst kind of wrong because you can't convince someone to feel a certain way about something by presenting evidence or making arguments. And, in any case, how should one feel about it? Further, does legalizing this conduct tend to normalize it? Will normalizing this behavior cause our daughters be less disinclined to consider prostitution as a way to support themselves?
