Bernie Sanders is having a huge surge. The national average shows the gap between Biden and Sanders closing significantly.

The average for Iowa shows Sanders leading (i believe within the margin of error).

The average for New Hampshire shows sanders really leading. 

There hasn't been much polling for Nevada lately, but the 2 done in early January (before his big surge) show biden and sanders almost statistically tied with 1 point and 5 points between them. 

Sanders is well placed to win 2 or even 3 of the first 4 states. 

With Sanders leading in California and the only Texas poll in the last 2 months showing Biden and Sanders statistically tied in Texas (sorry the link for the poll itself appears to be down at the moment so here is the average page). Sanders is also well placed to do well on super tuesday too.

lol no. everyone saw that Warren is a political backstabber. That definitely hurt warren.

But in alot of these polls biden is down some, Butigieg is down by alot in some of them. It isn't just warren's people Sanders is picking up.

Even that isn't working. Bernie's surge has been happening while he has been stuck in the senate. Bernie has a super strong ground game. He also has strong surrogates out campaigning for him (AOC, Michael moore etc)

I don't think the establishment Dems have any method they can use to stop bernie. He has risen so much they can't just ignore him. And attacking him doesn't work either because people trust Sanders more than they trust corporate media outlets.

lol i've seen them try to do something like that. I think it was a CNN segment where they tried to argue he was "washington insider" because he has been a senator for years. 

You know CNN is out of ideas when they feel like painting a candidate as an experienced legislator is somehow an attack. I mean, most of their audience would probably think that is a good thing. The people who would think that is a bad thing aren't watching CNN anyway.

Who is CNN backing?
CNN compliments any of the corporatist candidates. They are pretty easy on Biden. They constantly faun over Butigieg and Klobachar. They are pretty light on Warren too. Just an edit here, they also loved Kamela, Booker and Beto before they flamed out. 

They constantly bash Sanders, Yang and Tulsi. 

And yeah, it's weird that being qualified for the position has become a mark against applicants.
They understand that being an outsider is a big appeal for alot of people. So they want to make it seem like Sanders isn't an outsider candidate to try to push some of his supporters towards other candidates that have no shot at winning. 

But yeah, it's really weird to see them do this.

Anyone who regularly votes dem will turn out to beat trump. Plus he brings in alot of new people. young people, people who are sick of the corruption and greed of the neo-lib controlled establishment dems. 

None of the other candidates are going to do that. (maybe yang or tulsi, but they can't win at this point). Biden will get the core dem base and then alot of people will stay home. He will lose just like hilary.

Not in the swing states lol. But do take comfort that California and New York will yet again vote 75% to 25% for any Democrat candidate while still losing the electoral.

That's kind of my point though. the reliable dem voters will turn out for biden, but in swing states that isn't enough to win. That's why sanders has a much better chance because he can turn out new voters in a way biden never could.

The sad thing is that Bernie could have won easily against any of the establishment GOP candidates like Bush, Romney, and McCain.

Trump already has the support of the people with a middle finger to give to the establishment.
