I looked at my profile, and noticed that below the medals were these green coins. I have no idea what they are for, or what they do. Does anyone here know? Thanks!

😈
I hope it is for inter site crypto currency. It would be very useful and fun
Green coins should have been one of the tags

Thanks :)
i think it's donation points
RM has 50
My understanding is that they can be purchased directly, and/or earned through site activity. I don’t think they are working yet, but they will be able to be spent on things like pinning a thread to the top for x days, other things I don’t know about yet, or even changing a username.

Hi there, we have a release notes page that usually explains what changed with every new release -> https://www.debateart.com/release_notes
-->
@Dr.Franklin
At the moment, I just manually gave them to the people that donated and the mods. But I will add a system where they can be earned on the site directly, so more people will have them without donations.

Thank you so much!

@PressF4Respect
Of course, you're welcome :)
I will be updating this page -> https://info.debateart.com/help/credits with every new feature that leverages the credits.

Awesome feature!

Thanks!

@Dr.Franklin
RM has them not because of the donations really, he's just been super helpful from the website's start, he helped me to find a ton of bugs and inconsistencies.
We now also have posts highlighting, like this one!
I WAS RIGHT

@Dr.Franklin
I also have 50 lol.

@DebateArt.com
Awesome! how do you do that?
NVM I figured it out. You can only do it on your own posts

I am afraid the button is not visible unless you have enough credits :/

What is the exchange rate for dollars to credits?
-->
@Alec
Frankly, it's hard to say at the moment, it will depend on many factors that are yet to be implemented. Currently I just gave 10 credits for 3$ of donations per month. But it will most likely change when we at least have a way to earn those without donations.
-->
@DebateArt.com
You should give 10 credits per $3 donated, not $3 per month. If someone stops donating and they use their credits, what would happen? Would they get negative credits?
-->
@Alec
Yeah, that's how it's gonna be.You should give 10 credits per $3 donated, not $3 per month
If someone stops donating and they use their credits, what would happen? Would they get negative credits?
You cannot go negative, once you are at 0, you can't simply spend them anymore. And also we'll have a way to earn them in-site, so there's that too.

I don't think the credits are transferable like that so I doubt bribery in such a matter would happen.
