i dont like scrolling down to get to religions and politics for example. i dont see a good enough reason not to make them at the top of the list of forums.
forums should be ranked by popularity

Time and time again I told Ragnar this and he ignored me and the entire Religion forum in his thread even mocking me when I pointed it out.

Noted. Less scrolling for everyone is part of the goal of the forum restructuring project.

Reasons for alphabetical were suggested first by a primarily religion forum member, within the Forum Restructuring thread. Within the first post of that thread you can see my final suggestions; which move Religion from 17th place to 9th, and Philosophy from 15th to 8th.

Just who are these boogeymen of which you speak? Safe to say it's not the moderation team, as that's group is primarily made up of religious folks...

What is the more important reason since you didn't actually state the structuring will be based on what is the most relevant thread? I am guessing alphabetical.

Who, Mopac, Stephen or 3RU7AL?

All your questions are answered in depth within the Forum Restructuring thread.

Your belief that you are the entire religion forum is duly noted.
For anyone confused, post #92 in the previous thread is what he's disjointedly replying.

Oh so you did respond to this:
"The sports person might share a meme. The Netflix person might share a detail breakdown of how much time an actor spent on perfecting his art for the most recent move or TV show they were in. Here look at this video. If you wanted niche topics talked about here is a channel dedicated to it. If you couldn't find a niche topic here is one from the channel.
If Deflate-Gate wasn't niche then it has to be controversy. Well here is controversy for you.
Just so we are clear what I just did. I simply took the formulation of your arguments and applied it to be comparable to the other side. Meaning the differences you laid out are not actually differences instead you simply not realizing the other side that you are saying doesn't have, actually does have it.
A person shares a meme.
B person shares a meme.
A has detailed breakdowns.
B has detailed breakdowns.
Look A has this niche topic.
Look B has this niche topic.
A= Sports
B= Netflix or are more fair comparison would be Movies or TV shows because we would be comparing different forms of entertainment not a streaming service vs an entire industry. "
Oh wait you didn't actually instead you just said this:
- Here look at this..."
- No, I don't care to spend my time watching your videos.
Great job representing the most important point you gave for having Movies in a different section that Sports. Who would've thought you weren't actually there to realize and improve on the restructuring instead simply avoid what people say and not change a single thing.
Whatever order they are in, that order should be fixed so at least people can develop a sense of where a given forum is. Populations change, so tying the order of forums to a number that fluctuates is like building your castle in a swamp.

You wait over a month, within such time you complain that I did not finalize my suggestions up to Mike faster (even calling waiting for user feedback an "elongated ejaculation"), respond in the wrong thread... Need I go on?
Let me put it simply for you: No, I will not delete the Sports forum for you; no matter how much you dislike one user in it.

Very well said Drafter.
A casual glance at the Miscellaneous forum, says without our direct intervention that would be first place; as evidenced by such discussions as Billionth Post Wins, when no other forum even approaches a billion! Thoughtless ordering by popularity is a bad idea.... Which is repeating myself:
Popularity would end up getting weird, as people might try to throw off the statistics with irrelevant messages for the hell of it. However, I suspect at some point we'll get sort tools; allowing us to customize our own view of it by things like overall popularity or most recent posting.

Oh so you don't acknowledge that you didn't actually make a good faith effort to acknowledge the reasons you gave me to not have Sports in the Entertainment Industry even though I have demonstrated all the arguments you gave work on the other side as well. You wait over a month, within such time you complain that I did not finalize my suggestions up to Mike faster (even calling waiting for user feedback an "elongated ejaculation"), respond in the wrong thread... Need I go on?

Let me try and be simple. You can't contest what I said so you even trying to put up an argument. You had a month to "finalize" no changes so I guess that was the reason why you didn't critique my position instead critiqued on the basis of data I do not have myself.
Maybe it would actually be fair to:
1) Actually provide evidence on how you got to ranking conclusions
2) Critique the points I clearly laid out above
3) Then ask me to respond when I have the data you created or you know don't give me and expect me to trust you on blind faith. If it wasn't clear I am not Religious so that isn't a thing that I do.

@TheRealNihilist
Again, this is the wrong thread. So I'll keep this short...
1) Actually provide evidence on how you got to ranking conclusions
2) Critique the points I clearly laid out above
I responded over a month ago, and you chose to drop them. You proceeded to complain that my suggestions to Mike were not then finalized faster, with those points actively dropped. And now you're complaining that points you dropped were not a part of the recommendations... Basically you're complaining that I did not give you enough reason to complain.
3) Then ask me to respond when I have the data you created or you know don't give me and expect me to trust you on blind faith. If it wasn't clear I am not Religious so that isn't a thing that I do.
The numbers on the forum listing, and basic math skills. Heck, you might even do it better than me, given that you have a different qualifier for what counts as a user using a forum (you've previously complained that members using forums should not be confused with those members using said forums; we apparently can't just assume that them using forums means they used the forums...).
