China will also be involved in these exercises.... 

Why does it seem the West and Russia and China relations are not in a good state. In Fact, it just keeps worst... 

Why are we not trusting each other? 
 What is the motivation behind these Military exercises?

Did such exercises fill them with confidence I wonder?
Were they merely a parade?
Were they truly exercises they learned from?
Or 'though with surety, they were prepared?

News seems to claim quite a bit, Russia's failures in it's invasion of Ukraine.

I wonder what such would indicate,
Is it a lack of morale by Russian soldiers?
Lack of skill?
Equipment?
Quality of leadership?

Is it the strength of Ukraine?

From a military standpoint, even being beaten, has value, I'd imagine, as it would show an overestimation and/or underestimation of military matters.
The fixing of which has value.
Not sure it's worth the economic sanctions,
Or loss of life, loss of apparent freedom, I'd suppose.

We also called the Vietnamese backwards and unorganized and ineffective as well, so there is that.
