I got this error message when trying to post something: {"errors":{"text":["Required field"]}}

I tried to post a reply to someone's comment and I got a blank white screen along with that error message.

Can anyone of you check it out?

I was trying to respond to HistoryBuff's comment when I got the error. 

So basically you cannot add posts specifically for that topic? Have you had this problem only once or it keeps happening?

I think the problem may have went away. I was able to post. There should be an option to log what people do on this site, and only moderators can see the log, and then if someone gets an error, the moderators can see what happened prior, and try to replicate that error, to find the source of the problem. I know other forum-based sites that do this.

Yeah, I do have monitoring setup, both for the server and client sides ( it's probably one of the biggest expenses that I have for this site ) but sometimes it's still tricky. I have some ideas though what could have caused the issue and I will try to fix it tomorrow.

Yeah, what RM said. Internet Explorer is a joke, half of the things don't work there and frankly, I don't even bother to support it.

Apart from the options that RM mentioned, also you can install Brave browser, which is also amazing.

I am afraid it's not a bug, we simply require the person to be at least 12 years old, which is not the case for a person both in 2012.

Regarding the issues, they should probably go to the `Platform development` thread, I think currently it's the best place for that.
