Around November 1st, the DART Awards (a tradition started by me) will announce it nominations for it's annual award show. Unlike the HoF, this highlights YEARLY events such as the most valuable user of the year, trending topic, and etc. It is an award show dedicated to the best things this year. This was huge last year (2018), and I am hoping for the same results, if not bigger

You can't vote yourself or a thread related to you, etc. This is after the DART HoF, a separate occasion to honor the most VALUED OF THE YEAR and overall most impact and engaging.

There are 3 phases

1) Nominations/Voting (Nomination of People and adding Nominations)

2) Pure Voting/ TCTC (Too Close To Call Votes and General Voting If Need Be)

3) Ceremony (I formally announce winners)

Have judges that are not allowed to be awarded stuff they are voting on.

This can be orogami will be voting on the best forum poster but is not allowed to vote on the best debater. This can take longer but I think it would be better.

Do what you want. This is just my suggestion.

Do what you want. This is just my suggestion.

Sounds like that would get complicated really quick given the number of categories.

Have fewer categories. There isn't that many people on this site. Why have so much?

This is based on I much rather of good low quantity categories rather than bad high quantities.

This is due to the amount of people on the site and the good being judge voting which I hope is done by people who know what they are talking about.

Bad if you want it to be about the best as in who fits in a specific category the most instead of a popularity contest.

Please keep the number of categories to 5 or less. 3 is probably ideal. Otherwise the awards losing meaning, and I would like this to be a legitimate alternative and more looked forward to than the dart awards
