Can there be an option where you change your name on DART?

Basically private message him. 

I mean, this IS the forum where you talk about website stuff, and there is no issue with discussing it in public, so I don't see why I have to move it to PMs.

This issue could be useful for other people to know as well.

Names changes are unnecessary and can be confusing. Currently, if you want to change your name, the only way I know to do that would be to create a new account and have your old/current one banned.

If you wish, at some point, to return to your old account, I can unban that and ban your new account. And so, while you can switch between accounts, you cannot do so to the point it becomes annoying. There will reach a time, after many requests, when I will simply refuse to allow any switching.

I will be conferring with Mike about name changes. In the meantime, if you have a name change request, I suggest reaching out to him.

Omar had his name changed and atats remained... Everything before altered with it.

How did you change your name?

I've changed the names of maybe 4-5 people in the last half a year so it's a simple process from my side but it may be confusing for the other users so we should come up with a procedure for that. 

I think, just to avoid you ever being inundated with requests, that you should allow every user 1 opportunity to change their username upon request to you.

Yeah, that was my logic too.

How about a time limit instead?
