Now I suppose lots of people are going to... Supposing you could arrange everybody so that they all have certain characteristics. What would you want them to have? So...we want everyone should be geniuses. Well, I've got some personal knowledge of geniuses, and let me tell you one in a long while is all you can stand.
I mean, I personally don't want anyone around me who's a genius; I can just barely stand myself.
Or we want everyone who's sort of a deep thinker, everyone who's sort of sensitive, and kind, and humane...naah! Any race, any set of human beings that are all alike are not only dull, but useless, really.
I was asked a few days ago...really was, I'm not making this up...whether I didn't think an intellectual elite ought to run the world. And I said, by an intellectual elite, you mean people like me? Because I didn't know what he meant by an intellectual elite. I thought maybe it might mean people like him, in which case no!
And he said: "Yes, people like you". And I said no, that would be no good because I'm only smart in certain ways, and very stupid in other ways. And if everybody was like me, and we were running the world, we'd all be smart in the same way, and all be stupid in the same way, and it's the stupidness that's going to kill us. I said, what we need are people of all kinds running the world! Some of whom are smart in one way, and some of whom are smart in the other way, and with everyone's smartness in different directions, so that they can sort of cancel out; so that everybody's stupidity can be caught by someone else's smartness in the same direction.

According to online IQ tests I took, anywhere from 70-165.
To me, IQ testing is worthless.

Genius is the ability to store and utilise data more effectively.
Whereas perspiration is a means of thermoregulation.
Thomas Edison wasn't thinking effectively when he came up with that one liner.
Anything other than a professionally administered intelligence test has credibility problems. Problem is they're expensive.

I just took one experimentally & got a 77. The website actually suggested I look into a career as a janitor.
I'm pretty skeptical about the whole notion of IQ frankly. People have such trouble defining intelligence but then they don't balk at assigning it a number (as long as it confirms certain biases). For example, all IQ tests are time based but we know that most real intelligence is not time based: intelligence is inhibited by pressure and we know that really good answers seldom come quickly. Intelligence is a process of collating data, evaluation, creativity, memory- the best ideas almost always involve good sleep and good collaboration. How does an IQ test reflect any of this? The answer is that it does not. Mostly IQ tests are only designed to reveal mental nimbleness- wit.
If an IQ test does what it says it does, then training and repetition should not avail testees- but all these sites allow retests and advertise for IQ training. The sites themselves invalidate their own initial claim- that intelligence is quantifiable, that intelligence is inherent and can't be learned.

Highly doubt your IQ is that low, a mentally challenged person has an IQ of 75. Iq isn't perfect but I'd presume the test you took was faulty.

So either your first estimate or your second estimate were off by at least one hundred and sixty-five orders of magnitude. To put that in perspective, the diameter of the universe is expressed in gigalightyears- tens to the twenty-sixth power of meters. Your over/underestimate was more than six times larger than mistaking the universe's breadth for a golf putt.
