So this is how it works. You post F, and then like every F post before yours. The more likes the F chain is, the happier RM's spirit will be ;)

Who is RM?

RMs Legacy was his frequent outbursts declaring himself a genius, noob sniping with left field arguments and nonsense; incoherent and rambling 100 word long sentences, bullying and harassing anyone that dared to not praise him overtly; generalized paranoia at pretty much everyone who voted against him, demands for special treatment, and frequently taking on a dozen debates at a time, half assing half of them, forfeiting half of them complaining when he lost, quitting - losing more debates, coming back, etc.
While I respect his decision, and bear him no ill will as a human: much of his legacy here is a trainwreck - if that train was carrying human waste and fireworks.
I don’t feel that this legacy needs to be respected.
bullying and harassing anyone that dared to not praise him overtly
You mean like this person who claimed that they should be called "master"? https://www.debateart.com/debates/1179/the-united-states-would-be-better-off-without-black-people
F and locked!

@David
Doesn't need to be locked. But I will move it to the people section.

@bsh1
So this doesn't matter?
Virtuoso I guess is only following what was voted upon as in spam threads are not permitted.

@Christen
It is RationalMadman from this thread:
He is the guy who created the topic.

@TheRealNihilist
This is not a spam thread. It's borderline, but there is a clear purpose to it, and as long as users are only posting "f" once, they are not spamming per se. In borderline cases, the default is to allow the content.

Define spam.
but there is a clear purpose to it
I'll address this after the spam definition.

@TheRealNihilist
The COC defines spam as "any content which is nonsensical or excessively repetitive." What counts as "nonsensical or excessively repetitive" is ultimately my job to decide.
In this case, to the extent that there is a clear purpose to the content, it is not nonsensical. Nor is it, in my view, excessively repetitive so long as each poster only posts "f" once. To the extent that everyone keeps their "press F" posts to a minimum, then the repetitiveness is not excessive, because each post conveys a unique message of support (i.e. a message of support specific to an individual person).
There is obviously room for disagreement, but I find this to be a borderline case, and so my ruling is that it is not lockable.

Sheesh.
In this case, to the extent that there is a clear purpose to the content, it is not nonsensical.
It is literally a meme from Call of Duty Advanced Warfare where you press f to respect a dead guy. It is nonsensical because the game lacks any kind of story which can be seen by simply pressing f to respect as somehow a useful story device.
To the extent that everyone keeps their "press F" posts to a minimum, then the repetitiveness is not excessive, because each post conveys a unique message of support (i.e. a message of support specific to an individual person).
A support of a dead meme which was used because of COD AW's atrocious writing.
There is obviously room for disagreement
The more important question how much are you willing to budge because like you said "is ultimately my job to decide."?
Just something about the COC, it mentions this:
Posting or bumping spam threads,
I have already demonstrated the nonsensical nature so to me it is considered spam, I have to wait on you for that. If you agree every single comment is bumping a spam thread and would need to punished accordingly.

@TheRealNihilist
Where it's from is immaterial in this context. Rather, I am concerned with how it is being used in this thread. In the context of this thread (how it is being used here), it is certainly not nonsensical.It is literally a meme from Call of Duty
The more important question how much are you willing to budge
I certainly move (and have moved) on issues where compelling arguments are presented contrary to my initial position. That being said, there must be some finality to moderation decisions as well, lest moderation's word not be taken seriously. Any moderator must strike a balance then between being open to "budging" and standing firm--pliable, but not too pliable. It's not always an easy balance to strike, and no one is perfect in striking it.

This one example of why it is nonsensicalWhere it's from is immaterial in this context. Rather, I am concerned with how it is being used in this thread. In the context of this thread (how it is being used here), it is certainly not nonsensical.

What fits under nonsensical?

@TheRealNihilist
What fits under nonsensical?
I cannot provide a comprehensive list, as I cannot imagine every situation that might arise where this is an issue. However, I would say that, generally, nonsensical content is content which lacks a communicative purpose or which is literally incomprehensible.
