We need more restrictions on alchohoul. Raise the age to 25

Pro's to increasing the legal age of drinking to 25:

-The brain is fully developed at 25.

-50 percent of rapes happen under the influence.  Raising the age will be good for women.

-It will tare down on drinking and driving, saving lives and reducing insurance costs.

Anyone who drinks between 21 and 25 should get a $1000 fine.  If they can't afford it, then they would go to jail for a week.

Thoughts DARTers?

This will never happen, but it should be legal with parents. Lower the drinking age to 18, with a cap on the tab. Raise the age to buy off-sale to at least the age of 22.

Lol. 18 is fine as an age, 21 is too high for sure. America is the only developed nation to have an age that conservatively high. Same with the age of sexual consent. Most developed nations have it be 16.

Some places have it be that when it's 14-16, you can't be much older, others have it that below 18 can only be up to a certain age and definitely not an authority figure of any kind etc. Personally, I think we undervalue the importance of sexual freedom as a society. The issue is that when people are abused they are so embarassed to tell anyone because we are so angry and repressed about sex. That is actually what makes it easier for sexual abusers to do what they do and get away with it.

The only problem with having an age limit on alcohol is that you can simply have an older person buy alcohol and give it to an underage'd person.
