If you search online debate - then you get ddo
DDO will always score high because the name is so brutally good (just 'debate' and .org ranks above .com unless there is huge disparity and DDO owned DDC and pseudo-sold it to a trusted 'unregistry corporation' that ensures no one else gets the URL but you no longer need to run the website).
Essentially they pay monthly to own Debate.Com but at a very cheap rate where the only thing they're paying for is owning a URL that Unregistry Corp uses to advertise itself. It's the cheapest deal possible for their situation and was a wise investment by them.
DDO is an example of fantastic financial wisdom and terrible people-side wisdom of such a would-be successful enterprise. They played their cards right in every sense of not being driven out by competition ever (simply the face that the website is 'debate' and it's been around so much longer etc, means any other debate-esque website will never beat it on Google for years to come).
If it is low for now, it will come back later even purely through the adspam clicks.
Google tracks (it's not a conspiracy theory) so the reason Debate.Art shows higher for you, if you use chrome or browse on an Android phone attached to your Google account, is that they know you like Debate Art. Try looking on another browser in their incognito mode. DDO will probably score higher and DA lower. It also puts Debate Island high for me and I think that's also from my history.

Wow, "online debating" search term... debateart.com shows up on first page of results. That's cool. But it still doesn't show up on the keyword "debating website(s)" ... i think those would be the most searched for terms.
DDO isn’t showing up on google for me, but dart is on the first page
I went incognito and same results
Incognito in chrome means it's still going from your cookies etc just not saving new ones.
