It's pointless to vote you now with 1hr left to make a decision. Clearly we are not gonna force a lynch on yourself so might as well go into the next game knowing my scum and who my vote was on if questioned

If Grey were scum, he would know I was town too. So, if Grey were scum, he would have no reason to unvote me, because of how far along the lynchwagon was. Better for scum to secure a mislynch than to get a no-lynch, all other things being equal. So, if Grey were scum, it would have been irrational for him to have unvoted me.

But, again, if you feel so strongly about it, why haven't you voted me?

Eh, that doesn't make a ton of sense. It seems more logical from that POV to be on the bsh train in the hopes that one of the inactives might hammer or in the hopes that Grey might change his mind.

You can call it terrible modding, even though it’s not. It just leaves the door open to all the possibilities just like a “no comment” would’ve done. And I could give each mafia 2 safe claims to choose from and leave them to pick whichever one would fit well with the roles and character claims revealed. You don’t know which of the 3 (plurality) I chose, hence the same thing as a “no comment.”

No, because it creates added confusion. "No comment" doesn't do that. You have an obligation as a mod not to inject yourself into the game in a way that makes things more confusing. Because then your words become points of analysis or misdirection, and that's not what mafia is about. Players should always be able to trust that the mod is playing straight with them.

You have an obligation to be straight with players. You have already commented in a way which created confusion, which means you have a duty to clean up the mess you made.

That's not clarifying, because your original words clearly weren't "no comment." You cannot just say that and then hope, like it's a Jedi mind trick, that we won't see the original words you wrote and try to make meaning out them. You have a duty to explain exactly what you meant by those original words now that you've said them.

keep in mind GP's hider claim is testable:  we have set an expectation that he breadcrumb his target and we will want him to tell us who he hid behind next DP.  GP should be able to confirm a town or kill a scum or he will have to try to fake it which might be falsifiable.  Any way you look at it, GP's not a good lynch candidate

Bruh, it’s called me being fluffy with my answer. I’m clarifying that that statement meant that anything is possible. Here are the options:

I gave only one mafia a safe claim

I didn’t give any mafia a safe claim

I gave each mafia more than one safe claim.

Grey should not breadcrumb his target, because then he risks mafia IDing his target, giving the mafia the chance to NK two townies at once. I believe that hiders die if the person behind which they are hiding also dies. Though, correct me if I am wrong.

Next time, if you mean no comment, say "no comment." Deliberately deceptive commentary is a shitty way to mod a game.

I am okay with a no-lynch today though I would prefer to lynch bsh. We have 10 players and are on track for MyLo, mathematically it is better for town for there to be 9 players on track for LyLo.
