Welcome to the First Annual DART Fan Fiction Tournament, run by SupaDudz.
I always wanted to run a Fan Fiction tournament on DDO, but since it died, I thought it was a good idea to bring it to DART.
Here are some of the guidelines...
General Rules
1. Each person will be given 48hrs to come up with a story and write about a certain theme or topic of the judges choice(varies every round)
2. A forfeit will result in an automatic win for the opponent
3. I would prefer stories to be written in Google Docs, that way judges can leave comments and share things
toyou on Google. If you don't own Google, just send me a script of the email I will provide. PLEASE DO NOT EXPOSE THIS EMAIL TO OTHER DARTers
4. Cheating or plagiarism is not allowed. If caught, you will be disqualified and banned from the tournament forever
5. The grading system is the only way something should be graded on and determined
6. In Round 1, there will 1 judge(me) deciding on whose story was better. The Semi-Finals will have two judges, and The Final Round will have 3 judges. Judges are on the code of honour stated below
The Judge Code of Honor
As a judge, I am honoured to be serving the tournament and therefore, I will not let bias or grudge determine who will win
a roundand who will get a higher
score.
I will follow the grading scale and read diligently to make an accurate response. I will not communicate with a participant about their story. Failure to follow this procedure will count as the vote-getting scrapped and disqualification from the tournament
