If you want to help out, $3-4 per month is a good way of helping out. It’s not going to fully fund everything, but certainly helps cover costs. The main issue is simply time needed to implement features, raising page ranks and marketing.

No. This site would just be an ugly mess of a design to happen. If ads come in, spam bots could come in. It is a gateway. The site is in no dire need of help, so do not force it

I don't mind seeing an ad, especially knowing it supports the people running the website here. I am more concerned about how it is implemented if it might have an impact on the demographics.
We should polls as it's own separate section with comments too, like DDO
