Dude, this site has yet to raise itself to the level of being unprofessional. Novice, hack, beginner are better terms to describe this site. Perhaps, you need to get out more and visit well run forums to see what they're actually like.It makes the site look cluttery and unprofessional.

I would enjoy advertisements on the sides as long as they are appropriate ads. I guess I am used to seeing them.
Maybe BSH1 can have a vote on site ads. You guys might be surprised how many members would support it, and the site can't exist without the members.

Maybe. In June.
When Mike realises that to get Ad revenue, you need to reveal your true identity or true corporation on the website in order to maintain ownership of the revenue stream (if you own an LLC, you have to reveal your identity so this is not a false dichotomy), then I think he will opt out.

Ads don't bring in members, they bring in revenues at the cost of it's membership. Members join and stay if the forum is well run and doesn't have ads, but this forum is not well run, it's abysmal. This can easily be seen via the statistics and the fact they're talking about putting in ads. It's easy to see that this site is not flourishing or ever will until bsh is fired and they get someone in here who knows what they're doing. Putting in ads is just another slap in the face of the membership here.You guys might be surprised how many members would support it, and the site can't exist without the members.

i didn't even notice that you could donate to this site until someone asked why RM had the colors spin around his profile pic (we should name that spin thing something) much less have a patreon you should advertise it a bit more but not be to obnoxious about it like create a form with a link to it or something if there isn't one or something else
