America is a large country with over 300 million people. Fiscally, some are poor and some are rich. Not every community has stuff that is in particularly high demand. "The right", whatever it is, is probably relative to "the left". Economic freedom and capitalism are generally popular last I checked in the democratic party and the republican party which dominate American politics so by that metric the vast majority of politicians are right. Capitalism is a necessary aspect of economics, as far as the government is concerned.
